My mom opted for the spaghetti bolognese, which had al dente, but thin noodles and a sauce flavorful with tomato and beef umami. The fettuccine pesto sadly lacked the garlic-and-basil punch that my brother was seeking. I selected the buffalo mozzarella pizza, which had a thin, flour-dusted crust. I wanted more tomato flavor from the sauce, and the cheese needed to be cheesier.
Our English-speaking staff had no problem keeping our drinks filled. We sat indoors, but learned later there is also outdoor seating, which was separated by wire construction fences from the restaurant facade at our visit.
At 8:30p on a Saturday night, only one other table inside was filled. By our meal's end, half the inside dining room was populated by perhaps 5 parties, and the outdoor dining was nearly totally subscribed.
