I've never had Chinese in Italy and Rosticceria Cinese Grande Ricco was very close to where we were…read morestaying. So I felt compelled to diligence the place.
Ill echo what some other reviewers have said: It tastes like US food court food. So if I was reviewing this in SF, it would get a solid 1-star. But it gets an extra star because my expectations for Firenze in the Chinese food department are lower. And it gets an extra star because it is cheap.
I ordered 3 items to-go: shumai which was ok but a bit gummy, a vegetarian steamed dumpling which was good, and a shrimp toast which was decent (Im not sure why I ordered it. Maybe the description as crostini gamerti sounded interesting).
So if you want cheap, 'Americanized' Chinese, it is an OK place.
