The last time we went, the haircut wasn't great...not horrible but uneven and choppy. The stylist seemed to be new, and we just noted it as a one off, no big deal. Today is my son's 13th birthday and he wanted to get his haircut, so we gave Rooster's another shot. I hesitate to make such a negative review, but this was a truly ugly cut. So uneven, bangs cut to a point in the middle between his eyebrows, his face was totally covered in hair-there was no brush off or anything. We were both very disappointed. $32 for something that I could have stayed home and hacked at his hair with kitchen scissors and done just as well if not better. I'm sad to say that we won't be back.

He really takes the extra time to make sure everything about your haircut is perfect. I would recommend calling ahead. He does take walk ins but will fairly prioritize call ahead customers. My search revealed that few if any barbers around the area do reservations. That's when I stumbled onto a Facebook post for the Pros 2 Barber Shop that said they had just started taking appointments. So I called and made one for the following Saturday. I walked in and was a little surprised to see that the owner, Eli, had this crazy head of hair and the customers waiting were all half my age. But sure enough, at my appointment time, he took me ahead of another customer and gave me the best, boring "old man" haircut I had been seeking.
