Came here after lunch because I needed a caffeine fix. There was a half off happy hour special on ice blended drinks. Unsure since my friend saw this signage at one of the entrances. This place was fairly small. Coming in at around 5 PM on a Friday (after Christmas), there was only a few customers that came in after us. The ice blended drinks were pretty tasty. I think the more popular items were the iced coffee as the employee informed me when I couldn't decide - as usual. The espresso beans were pretty good. About 8 of them would be equivalent to a cup of coffee. The macaroons were miniature sized in my opinion. Compared to Atlanta standards, I think they would be considered extra small. They were pretty good nonetheless and priced at $0.99 per piece. Parking was plentiful since PJ's was located in a complex that seemed to be partially empty.

The spinach feta croissants are legit. Not as good as an actual bakery, but really good.

Time for another review update because I wrote my first review when I was a new Yelper and didn't know what I was doing. I like this PJ's. I go here usually once a week and get a large iced coffee. Sometimes I'll go crazy and get a mocha granita. Both are always good. The place is small, but has a good amount of tables and chairs if you need to study and there are also a few tables and chairs out front, if you want to sit there. Keep in mind that this PJ's is in a strip mall, so you are sitting outside of a strip mall. It's not super glamorous, but it gets the job done. Ownership of this PJ's has recently changed, and I don't know if it's related, but they no longer carry the Gambit or Where Y'at papers. That's a shame because I used to like to stop in here and pick one up with my coffee, so I don't know if they are gone for good or what. I also don't understand why every PJ's seems to price their coffee differently. Ok, I'm starting to sound like Andy Rooney, so I'll end here. Cliffs: I go here all the time and the coffee is awesome.

Found the coffee inconsistent and out of common things. The experience is not pleasant.

I asked for just a little bit of half&half (COVID-19 era) my cup couldn't be any fuller . It tasted more like half and half than coffee.

Awesome little homey restaurant with very friendly and helpful staff. Perfect brunch spot for the morning and early afternoon. I ordered black coffee and the ratatouille omelette with a side of bacon. It was delicious. Next time i am gonna try the steak and eggs on their entrees menu. Everything was reasonably priced. Dining room was well lit and clean. Unisex bathroom with changing table for the little ones was also clean! Cant wait to come back!

Love the interior layout, and it is handicap accessible. Bar seating available. Lots of light. Seated immediately. Drink orders taken and brought - coffee, OJ and Diet Coke. Food was out in under 10 minutes. Husband's Mushroom Toast with Bacon was SO yummy, and they even put the egg on the side at our request. My ham, mushroom, spinach and Gruyere crepe was also divine. Added side of Lyonnaise potatoes which were the best breakfast potatoes I believe I have ever had. Service was a team effort, which I always appreciate. Friendly, quick check out and we were encouraged to return. Can't wait!

The food here is great every single time. Even though it's served from hot tables, everything is super fresh because they are busting out plates left and right. The line moves really quickly and everyone working there is very nice. I've tried something different every visit. From the variations of the Baby Back to the Biscuit Boat and the Back in Town Burrito, it's all been delicious. Also, the potatoes are so good! I usually take pictures of my food, but for some reason, I can never get a shot here because I eat it way too quick. This is definitely a top-tier spot in Gretna!

If you don't know already, this is usually the breakfast location for Chicken's Kitchen, just up the street. They're just consolidated for Saturdays. The breakfast here is amazing, especially if you can get there on a Friday for the City Gravy. It's to die for. All of the breakfast options I've had here are amazing (shrimp allergy, so I don't know about the biscuit boat, but I bet it's amazing), and the maple biscuit is fantastic. I went here today for lunch. Unfortunately I missed the fried ribs by about five minutes so I got the fried chicken instead and it did not disappoint. Probably the biggest chicken breast I've ever seen, seasoned and cooked to absolute perfect. I had a large side of dirty rice, which was amazing (I'm running out of adjectives), and then a double order for two small sides of the Five Star Mac and Cheese (there's an upcharge to do that but it's worth it, although the other sides are great too). It was so much food I had to save part of the sides! We also got the pepper balls (looked great but the shrimp allergy) and Brussels sprouts. Sorry this is a lot, but you also need to know that Chef Marlon is a genuinely amazing human being. He does a lot for the community, and he does an initiative called Feed Them Kids, where he gave free meals to kids this summer, and even extended that. So you're not just getting one of the best meals of your life, you're also helping out!!!

We checked into our nearby hotel a bit early in the day and was looking to hit the streets for a spot to get a chill/light breakfast, a coffee and maybe a cocktail. We found all the things at Luzianne Cafe. Whether you belly up to the bar or grab a table, both of which are first come first serve, you start at the counter where you order, pay and grab your table number. It appears that during busy times they allow you to sit first and order from the QR at your table, this is an assumption given the code to order at the table, but the sign at the entry directed folks to the counter to order before sitting. For breakfast, we got the breakfast biscuit which came with eggs, bacon and cheese, and sided it with grits. The breakfast sandwich was solid, eggs were a bit soft and grits were more mealy than we are used to, but I think that may be authenticity of the area more than anything. I opted for the three option omelet with onion, sausage and gouda plus a side of sausage links. The omelet, though odd sounding combination turned out to be solid. Maybe it was my options, but it was decently "one note" in flavor. I tossed a little hot sauce on and that helped. However, while the sausage links were not much to look at, they were tasty, with a nice snap to the casing and meaty inside. To go with our breakfast, I got a cold brew with a splash of almond milk while my partner embraced NOLA and started his day with a bourbon sour. Both of us enjoyed our choices! Service was friendly and helpful at the counter/bar. The food runner was nice and then another member, assuming the Manager, that stopped by to check on us mid meal. She was super friendly and nice. Overall, we enjoyed our meal and drinks at Luzianne. Minor things noted, mainly on the cook of the eggs, but nothing awful. It his the spot and checked the boxes!
