Thats because they havent even begun to fill it up less the customer initiates the transaction. I get it... they dont want to fill things unnecessarily; but ideally as a customer, it would be nice to come from the doc and be able to just pick it up. For the past 17 years I've known I had a "blind spot" in my right eye caused by scar tissue, for the past 5 years I've know I have astigmatism in my right eye, and through all of that time my vision in my right eye has been blurry and hard to live with. I've told multiple eye doctors this only to be met with "everything looks fine." After 15 minutes of tests and reviewing scans, Dr. Perry diagnosed me with Pellucid Marginal Degeneration, which makes all of the issues I've had with my right eye finally make sense.
