Stay away if you don't want to get ripped off. I went to the Parkland Emergency in Plaistow from a recommendation from my doctor. "they are a full service ER" he said. I had blood clots in the past and was having some similar symptoms. An emergency room would be the quickest way to diagnose. I went in, told them what was going on, got put in a room with the "tablet" to get my billing info. The Doctor (who was filling in because of staffing issues) came in, and I told him what was going on. He said " if what is going on with you is what I think, you know what I'm talking about, you need to go to a real hospital. we don't have the staff to help you." They offered me an ambulance ride to Portsmouth Hospital. I declined and my wife drove me to Portsmouth Hospital and they did the job of a real ER. Parkland in Plaistow billed my insurance many thousands of dollars and is trying to get me to pay them another $500. THEY PROVIDED ZERO EMERGENCY SERVICES. Dr. Mullaney is knowledgeable and listens. I did have some nurse practitioners that were the same, but it seems they all left. The last one I dealt with would not recommend my husband, who suffers from chronic migraines, to a specialist. She insisted that his slightly elevated cholesterol was somehow the problem. Core itself constantly gave us surprise bills. Trying to get someone on the phone at the practice itself is impossible. While some of the providers are good, I would not recommend this practice or Core Physicians in general. read more

I have to leave one star. I can't even give two. When it was a smaller practice, it was just OK. Since they moved into their new luxurious building, you can't get through on the phone, and when you do, they make an appointment, and more often than not, you get a call that Dr x is not seeing patients that day and you have to reschedule. I have things that need attention and was told "we'll keep an eye on that." I went to give a blood sample - used to take 5 minutes at the most, and was waiting for 40, yes 40 minutes. The actual test was less than 5 minutes. What? I couldn't wait to get out of there. I found a good PCP, requested my records from Plaistow and received a form that I have to pay $53 for MY records. I've been happy with Core Physicians from Exeter Hospital, but Plaistow Health is a trainwreck. read more

This office cost me $500 + because they failed to communicate to my insurance company on 2 claims. My PCP Dr Mei (at Core) was somehow still listed as working in MA, even though he practiced in Plaistow at the time and I had a physical with him. This caused my insurance to keep bouncing back my claims, since I can only go to a NH PCP. Notified Core multiple times, they said they would call my insurance company. On multiple occasions I called back both my insurance company and Core to check in, and each time I was starting from scratch. After a year of following up and spending hours on the phone, nothing happened, and I ended up in collections, which Im now paying off but really frustrated. I definitely cant recommend this office and won't be going back. read more

I went to see Dr. Pernyeszi for my annual physical wellness checkup. He completed the exam thoroughly and is a knowledgeable and caring doctor. A few days later I got the bill. I had been charged for each individual procedure and test performed as if they were all done independently. This resulted in a substantially higher bill than the wellness checkup I really got. I tried to get the bill corrected but found the billing people to be unresponsive. My health insurance provider is investigating this matter as possible fraud. It's unfortunate because the doctor is skilled and caring, but seems to work for an underhanded corporation. I would have liked to give more stars, as the doctor deserves more, but the company made this too much trouble for a physical exam. I only can imagine what they would bill me for if I had something seriously wrong with me. read more
