Upon arriving to River Lures, the door was locked with a sign that read something similar to, 'Call this number if the door is locked and I'll be right over.' I called and spoke to the same woman as I had before. She told me she closed up the business because she had an emergency and that her manager and other employees were not returning her calls to cover the rest of her shift. I understand that emergencies happen, but I was extremely disappointed that it was carried out in such an unprofessional manner. She knew she was to be expecting customers that were driving 45 minutes for the sole purpose of Kayaking.
