Pretty decorations do not make up for UGLY childish behavior. I will gladly support ANY other bowling alley in a 3 hour radius (or do a million other things) before ever recommending a single person I care about spend a dime at this establishment. It is a shame that a place with such historical significance to Defiance is in such poor, vindictive hands. And if you do decide to go, don't expect to actually get to enjoy your experience as they will try to move you lanes 3 times in an hour and refuse to restart the time you paid for when they do it. If you heaven forbid need to ask for something make sure you deal with the husband who at least has a brain because the wife is SEVERELY unhinged! I've never been treated so terribly by people I was paying for a service and experience! Take your money and all your friends to C&H and support kind, local business people who are doing it the right way and have been for many years. They gladly took amazing care of us and our entire family when South 66 decided they were doing too good to swallow their aggression and pettiness for the hundreds of dollars that would have been spent there by us alone today had they just had a little tact in their business practices. The days of the customer being right are looooong gone and this lady will in fact call the police and tell blatant lies (and refuse to show the video that verifies she is lying) if she doesn't like you being right and wants to steal your money. Can't wait to watch this place meet its inevitable demise. Terrible business. Actually the worst. Stay far away.

We checked in got our shoes and (by their mistake) got put in lanes that were reserved for an hour after ours was finished. We got everything ready to bowl and a women stormed up demanding we move. We asked if our reservation time would start over since we have to set up again on another two lanes. She laughed and asked why would it. By this time we figure out she's the owner. She was utterly disrespectful to me and my wife in front of our two small children oh and my father and mother. Then when we just wanted some explanation she just got nasty. And motioned to her husband by sliding her hand across her neck saying "they're done" and asked us to leave. By this time we were disgusted and didn't want to stay. We asked for our money back. She then stalled for 20min acting like she was on the phone trying to get our refund and he lied and said the computer didn't work , only to be calling the police so we could be trespassed. Police show up my kids are scared and bawling and the computer magically works again.Mind you we have 2yr old and 6yr old with us. I've never seen a business owner act with such a disregard to their customers. It was unbelievable. And would never recommend anyone to this bowling alley.

Bowling, arcade, VR, restaurant, bumper cars and of course, a bar all under one roof, made for a great night with some new friends. The selection of arcade games was smaller than I'd expected but I found a few to play and ended up winning big on the ticket claws. The redemption counter had lots of fun items at reasonable ticket levels too, so I got a bunch of great toys to bring back to my kiddos. The bar was nicely stocked with a decent selection of beer and spirits. I settled on some Old No. 7 neat which did the trick. They also have nice party rooms here and our event had a buffet featuring a selection of their pizzas, a nacho bar, and what seemed to be hand breaded Midwest chicken chunks! Everything was tasty and the staff kept it well stocked too! I wish I hadn't spent so much time hanging in the bar (ok no I don't) but I missed out on experiencing everything else this place had to offer except the food and the arcade games. The owner, Dustin went out of his way to still honor our reservation and made sure we could still take our 30+ kids bowling. It's been years since I've been to this location but I was so impressed with the remodel. We all had a blast glow-in-the-dark bowling and hanging out. While we typically have their boneless chicken and fries their burgers are amazing too. Of course their breakfast options are equally amazing. The staff here at the Lanes is always kind and so welcoming. They always work so hard to ensure your food and experience is personal and very enjoyable.
