I come at least 4 times a week between 3:30 am- 6 am. It's been a PLEASURE walking in to Marianna, Alejandro, and Renee! They are welcoming every single time. They are always making sure the gym is organized, clean, and my favorite making sure the front desk isn't unmanned for long so when I am done working out I don't have to burn time waiting for spa area. Gym is always clean. Staff is friendly. I have been a member for 8 years. My one criticism (one that has me wanting to change gyms) is that the staff does nothing to silence people on the floor having phone conversations. I go daily, and 8 out of 10 times there are 3 to 4 people having loud conversations on their phone while working out and staff does nothing about it. I have even told the front desk that people were having phone conversations on the floor and they never do anything about it. Very frustrating. It doesn't make for a positive workout experience. I would like this to be addressed with the team. It's not my responsibility to ask someone to get off their phone (which I have once and was yelled at by them), it should be monitored by the staff. read more

Every thing was ok but when it comes to pay there always right they don't care if its not right my daughter changed from the 15 dollar card they were going to charger her 1dollar for her to change to the 25 until the next month what do they do they charge her and it was half of the month and she went to talk to the manager all she had to say was that the computer though she had it all month and that they can't do nothing so why put something and do another why lie to her you know if I could give it a minus star I would the manager is so unprofessional a lot of improving they need professional manages and they need to stop false advertising. read more

Today 08/17/25, I came from out of town, decided to try out planet fitness. Asked for a day pass and got charged $20. Way over priced!! But since I've never been in a planet fitness, I decided to try it out anyway. FYI I have 24 hour fitness Gold pass, and there isn't any over here, around Delano area. read more

The gym itself is ok. The staff however are very undertrained and have little to no customer service skills. I've personally worked at several big name gyms throughout my earlier career and we were trained on how to deal with a variety of different issues. The kids here in Delano, and I say kids. This is most of their first jobs and when they don't know something, which is almost every single time, they are right, you are wrong period. I've cancelled my membership at least 5 times since this gym opened. It doesn't get better. The management is to blame. I go back thinking it will be different. It never is. Today I am cancelling my membership for the last time. There are other options here in Delano. Also, I have personally tripped over extension cords while working out. One minute it's not there, the next one of them is vacuuming inches away from your water bottle. It's as if they have no consideration for you. And they don't. And don't even try to ask a question at the counter if they are engaged in conversation with each other. They really don't understand the difference between a work place and a hang out. read more

Stopped in at this Planet Fitness while travelling. It is a smaller club and was packed with others. They should consider an expansion. Nonetheless, staff was friendly and the gym was clean. I enjoyed my visit. read more

i just sign up (12/9/24) got d black membership started going 12/10/24 with no issue i brought my daughter with me. second time going 12.12/24 i have to cancell my membership because the receptionist Evelyn dont have good customer service and consideration at all, because nobody told me i need to sign her unfortunately she dint bring her ID i ask politely next time she"ll bring her ID but rudely Evelyn d receptionist dont have a good customer service n consideration. this kiind of stablishment or business is pure good customer service and be considerate to customer so we refer people to patronize d business "kindness matter". the effort , tine and spend gas to show up for d second time to d gymn was very disappointing just because of Evelyn ( receptionist inconsiderate behavior) you loss a customer. read more

This gym is by far the worst I've been in this franchise. Employees look like they hate their job and do the bare minimum. They don't have disinfectant, other than up at the front..... who works out at the reception area?!?! The times I've gone in there, it smells bad. Weights are never to be found or found in random places at the gym. Very limited amount of weights and machinery for the amount of people at the gym. Get some more equipment and hand sanitizer! read more

So, this Planet Fitness in Delano has gotten so bad, that the managers and employees do the bare minimum because the people from the top (owner) do not give effective directives to make that gym a place where members who pay their monthly and yearly fee feel that their concerns and needs are being met. Keep in mind we pay to use the facility, but not everyone. So, I wonder if the owner and the PF franchise have heard about something called supply and demand. There are more members and non members using this facility, more than any other year since it opened in 2017. There are those who pay, plus those who go in for free because some pay extra for the Black Card and can take a guest. Ok I get it... but the problem is there isn't enough dumbells, barbells, and Smith machines which is what 99.9 percent of the attendees use. During peak hours which it seems that it's pretty much from 4 am to 9pm, its insane, some hog equipment and have 4 sets of dumbells just for themselves and 3 or 4 ppl in one machine making it so frustrating for a lot of members who have to wait double or triple the time just to use one machine or get a set of dumbells. As a member and a previous manager myself for a loan comapny and restaurant, I have given my suggestions to the managers who are the ones who can relay to the owner or the higher ups and express the concerns of those paying for the service right...? you would think that would be the process. But what happens when the employess have an "oh well mentality?" And are there just for the paycheck? Maybe some do care but their habds are tied, it could very well be the case but Maybe just like the owner, for them its all about the money, because if that wasnt the case, then things would be different there would be no complains or issues with equipment being available for paying members. What is being supplied becomes minimal compared to the number of people using the supplies. The most effective solution would be to re-evaluate what's being used more and what isn't being used as much and bring in what the members who pay are requesting right? That's more or less the concept of supply and demand. Now, as a member who joined in 2017, I have mentioned my suggestions to the managers and employees, but ofcourse the excuse is... well we haven't been told anything from the higher ups in regards to the issues aforementioned. Wow! Now, as if it wasn't already bad enough, they have this summer special. Free entry for teenagers. I'm all about the keeping kids off the streets, tax right offs for the owner, and giving to the community. But how are you accommodating those of us who pay a fee but there isn't enough supply for the demand of the gym attendees? It doesn't make sense that no one has even bothered to look at what needs to be re assessed in order to have enough equipment (supply) for the demand (use) of the members. I know a lot of members and they all have the same frustration. There just isn't enough of the most used equipment for everyone to use. To be honest a lot of them are ready to cancel their membership and go elsewhere and are pushing our city to bring in other gym franchises that have enough equipment to use and actually apply the policies when we sign the gym contract, and do not let me start with the gym apperal that they are allowing now, crocs, sandles, pjs, all the appera the gym doesnt stand for. But lets leave that for another review. It I's disappointing to see that the most important thing to the owner and franchise is getting money but not doing what is needed to make sure the members have the equipment they need. The whole facility can be rearranged to get more equipment in there. Also how can their be only 1 maintenance guy for all the PFs in the area? No wonder it takes months for damaged equipment to get fixed... really? Do i need to do the math of how much money these gyms are brining in? You can def invest in a lot more. Please get involved higher ups and look at the supply and demand of the Planet Fitness in Delano. read more

This is the cleanest gym in Delano. I went to Grand Slam before Planet Fitness was made, and I instantly moved here. You can visit as much as you want and you just pay $10/month (if you have a white-card membership). A black card is available for about $20/month if you want universal visits to any Planet Fitness location, and use the tanning and massages. They also provide free lockers to put your stuff in, and showers as well with any memberships. They highly emphasized the gym as "judge-free" which I honestly liked since I am DEFINITELY not a bodybuilder. I was a beginner that just wanted a healthy lifestyle. read more

I wish this gym was a lot bigger or less busier. The employees are nice and everything is always clean, but the environment is not comfortable at all. It's supposed to be a no judgment gym, but every single time I go there's always people staring at you and it's very uncomfortable. Also, some of the men have no respect and stare at you inappropriately. Ended up cancelling my membership. read more

so my boyfriend and i are from out of town, i came to visit famiky and decided to come to this planet fitness. first of all 4 men were at desk, non greeted at all. then they said my boyfriends card wouldnt scan, instead of trying his phone number they made HIM call, meanwhile 3 where on their cell phones and all talking amongst themselves. im so freaken pissed i cant believe how rude and lazy these people are. i will never come here again, make sure i let people know. how can planet fitness employ a bunch of lazy people!!!!! just horrible. finally my boyfriend called and all they told him on the phone was use phone number and agyer a 30 min hold went back to the guys at desk and of course it worked. The costumer service is horrible, horrible, horrible. DAVID is rude and he seems like he hates his job and doesn't know what he is talking about when we ask him a simple question. In addition, he spell my sister's last name wrong which proves that he didn't even care, he could've asked my sister to spell it right. **update** still not impressed with this location, more so now. They offer something they have yet to deliver on. Two months in a row, they have failed to provide coffee and bagels. Although it defeats the purpose of going to the gym to have a bagel, I would have at least liked a coffee after my work out. But NOPE! Last month I was told the person who was bringing it in didn't show up. I didn't even bother to ask what happened this month. I was there pretty late too...8am...so there should be no excuses. Way to go Delano PF. Every time I go there's a machine busted, it's always packed to the point where you have to wait for a machine, and when I drove by the whole back row of treadmills were taped off. I have the black card so I can go to any PF, so I go a few miles out of my way to a different location on my way back to Fowler. I'm not really impressed with this location :/ read more

I am only here on the weekends and surprisingly it's pretty busy before 6 am. I think it's a bit much to have so many cardio machines but since I don't live in this area and I don't use this gym daily, I don't know how packed it actually gets. The PURPLE IS OVERKILL!!!! I mean, everything is purple, it drives me crazy. The free weights area is really small so it gets congested and it sucks to work out with someone right next to you. I think they spent more time making sure the hydro massage, relax and tanning area had more room than the actual workout areas. Overall it's the best gym in the area and only $20.00 a month, so I'm not terribly disappointed. read more

I went in to work out this morning as I do every morning, I went in to the restroom and 2 stalls had NO toilet paper I decided to try the 3rd stall and their was feces all over the toilet seat!!! I went to let the employee there know and she said "oh I know someone was supposed to clean it yesterday" are you kidding it's been there since yesterday and you guys did not clean it!!! She could have gone in there to clean it if she wasn't so busy on her phone!!! Smh! This bothers me for many reasons!! It's a females restroom, and rather than cleaning the restrooms when needed they are out putting yellow tape around the machines that they are going to "clean" just to stand around and take over an hour to clean machines when the gym is packed. read more

For 20 dollars a month this is awesome!!! although i was not told about only getting 10 visits to other gyms a month... i should of read the fine print on the bottom. anyways this gym has all the equipment available to be fit. yes i understand some might want other fitness goals that this gym might not provide (more free weights) but if your goal is to just be fit and have a healthier life style this planet fitness is a good place in town to meet your goals. employess are always respectful when i come through the door please keep that up. if i may please make a suggestion i have been to other pf locations and this place could really use some buso balls, and the automatic water fountain that other locations have. read more

Need more free weights area. Also, people who are using the machines like the leg press should take the weights off of them, wipe down your equipment after using, put the free weights away and if not using put back on rack. read more
