Based on my experience while detained there, I believe there were abuses of authority and conditions that violated basic humane standards. During my time in custody, officers allegedly used excessive force. I witnessed inmates being sprayed with chemical agents over minor verbal conflicts and force being used when inmates interacted with the food port of their cell doors. The temperature in the unit was also kept dangerously cold for extended periods. After a fire in the pod, all inmates were placed on a severely reduced food ration for two weeks. I remained on this "minimum calorie" diet for three weeks because I used profanity toward Sgt. Guerria. During this time, my weight dropped from about 145 pounds to 118 pounds. I also heard staff state that "the Mexicans run this jail," creating an unprofessional and discriminatory environment. I respectfully request that these allegations and the conditions at this facility be reviewed by the appropriate oversight authorities.

What a wonderful hunting experience I had at 4 Amigos Ranch this past mid-October! Lee, Clinton and…read moreColton were a pleasure to be with during our time there. Helpful, informative and always going out of the way so we could harvest what we came for, which was originally wild pigs for eating...My friend and I got our 2 pigs each but the itch to get more was there and evolved into a desire to get an Aoudad which was really a challenge...However, with effort and encouragement I was able to get an ~120yrd shot (I golf) and get one! The rest of the staff throughout were incredible and friendly and our cook Cori, was super fabulous and can cook and incredible meal! Erica was also a gem in helping answer questions and getting us situated before the trip. Seriously, I would have easily paid more than what I did I had so much fun! The animals were plentiful and beautiful but it was not easy to get what you want because you had to be patient and let time and effort pay off. It was such a spectacular time, we are doing it again in Q2 or Q1. I highly recommend 4 Amigos for an awesome, relaxing fun time of hunting, sight seeing, animal watching and being with genuinely awesome people. Memorable and stupendous. So I came to see what the hype was. It's very peaceful. Literally I was the only one there. There was a flea market across the street. It's business as usual. The border is secure on January 29, 2024 Monday at 8:30am.
