I saw people rated this very poorly, but I did not have a bad experience. Was visiting and paid the guest fee. Came on a Sunday morning and lots of machines were available. Only real negative thing is the drinking fountains were a little weak and you were almost touching the spout when drinking. Everything seemed cleaned and maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. We were members here a couple years ago and just moved back. Regrettably there are no other real options for gyms in the area. The place is often very dirty. The bathroom have not been cleaned in a week. The water fountain is nasty and is covered in hair and dust. My problem is that has limited equipment and often it is out of service making it difficult to get a full work out. They need to do some maintenance. This is one of the nicest planet fitnesses that I've worked out at. Everyone is very friendly. I've had no problems working out here. You get what you pay for! Quite possibly the cheapest membership and they have lots of machines and equipment to use. read more

The equipment at this gym is aging and in need of repair and refurbishing. Your employee, Harrison, consistently shows integrity and outstanding customer service, especially when faced with challenges like the broken equipment. Harrison address member concerns with honesty, he offers creative solutions, and he has worked to get equipment, specially the Stairmaster, up and running. My experience at the gym is greatly enhanced by Harrison's positive energy and encouragement. I highly encourage the owner(s) to fully promote Harrison to club manager because he has shown the ability to communicate transparently, resolve issues effectively, and maintain a positive environment for both members and staff. read more

I enjoy coming here 3-4 times a week. However, there are too many machines out of order for months at a time. Not only is it a very bad look for the facility, it is unfair to its members. It really shows a lack of care about the franchisee. But the location is convenient for me and there are many good things about it. read more

It's 5:14 and no one is here to open. This is the third time this has happened since I joined last month. This is getting ridiculous.

Planet Fitness South Naples 12725 Tamiami Trail East has gone downhill in the past 3 months. The water fountain is broken, so the water runs ALL the time. SEVERAL machines are out of order. With certain machines out of order it prohibits a full workout. The place is dirty and dusty. There are huge cobwebs hanging from the ceiling. I asked the staff about the conditions and have tried to call corporate to no avail. The staff has also expressed frustration with the conditions. They are unable to get results. read more

It is 5:30am and the same employee on weekday mornings has failed to open the gym on time AGAIN. This happens about 3 days a week during the weekdays. Twenty people were standing around waiting. He is late every morning then walks in laughing saying his mom is sick. This is an employee and a business that does not value their client's time. A poor excuse for an employee and lacks any responsibility nor caring for job or clients. read more

Started coming to this club when our gym was closed due to damage from Ian. At first we loved what we called "our new gym". Didn't take long for things to change. Two of the three ladies room sinks were broken for at least 4 months. The bathroom garbage pails were overflowing often. Finally the sinks were repaired and things were looking up. We went north for the summer and when we returned things were and are not good. Three out of the six recumbent bikes have been broken going on 2 months. Many other machines are also in need of repair. The backs of the toilets in the ladies rooms are filthy. If you chose to you could write your name in the dirt. We started alternating between our old and our new gym and are much happier with the gym on Bayshore. They are cleaner and a lot of the treadmills and recumbent bikes were replaced with new ones. Think our old gym is now our new gym. You need to do better. read more

The immaturity of the front desk is an embarrassment for the company. You are never greeted when you walk in. When I went to sign up Three boys were talking . I finally walked over to a woman to help since the boys couldn't be bothered. Getting a paycheck for talking, now there's a concept. I was certainly expecting a better experience. read more

Many machines are out of order and have been for quite some time. It's hard to get a good workout because of the demand this puts on the machines that work. It's managements responsibility to have equipment repaired in a timely manner, not the case here. read more

my go to gym when I come down to florida, the ab machine was broken when I got here 8 weeks ago. it's still broken, when you ask the staff when is it going to be fixed they say "we're waiting for the parts" where's the parts coming from the next space shuttle from mars!! read more

I contacted Planet Fitness on 12725 Tamiami Trail Naples Florida and stated that I want to cancel my membership. I was told that I had to drive in to do that. That same day I drove in Planet Fitness hit my credit card with an annual membership fee. I asked to speak to the manager Sewena. She wasn't in so I left her a message. The next day no call from Sewena. So, I called again, and I did this twice. Sewena never called. I finally called back and got a hold of her. She told me that she could not reverse the charge, that it was non-refundable. She said that my contract requires 10-day notice prior to the charge. I asked her what contract? She said the one that was sent to you. I never saw a contract in my email. I checked my spam and even any that I deleted to make sure. Sewena stated I could send it to you again. I said okay, but it really doesn't help me after the fact. Crickets, she never sent the contract. Additionally, the flyer stated I would be charged an annual fee in May, and they charged me in April. So, without a contract and the mis-advertisement on their flyer I am first calling 844-880-7180, Planet Fitness complaint number first. If they don't make it right, I will be then taking this one to the Attorney General. I highly suggest others do the same. This company is taking advantage of people. read more
