Addicted to fitness seemed like the best bet but was concerned if it had enough of the equipment I needed based on reading the website. For a change it was the website underselling just how good this place really is. Image you were a billionaire and had your own gym for you and your friends to use. What would I expect? That it wouldn't be a massive set of treadmills it wouldn't be a pocket gym with no manager just a card. The place would have been decorated not feel like a basement. The staff would welcome you by name. There'd be free wi-fi access to water and coffee and men and woman's bathrooms with showers. The machines would be new and in pristine shape. Owners Jon and Michelle were welcoming and actually took the time to show me which machines I'd need to do each part of my routine. Normally YOYO unless you have a trainer. But yes they have those too. Paraphrasing Ms Riding hood not too big not too small just right. And did I mention the free wifi and being called by name?

The trainers Melissa and Amanda are welcoming to everyone and encouraging throughout each workout. I really mean that. I have been to many gyms in my life and this one has figured it out. I feel accepted and welcomed whenever I have stepped foot in the gym. I look forward to getting up for a 9am or 10am saturday workout. (I mean if that doesn't say something - like hello, what gym makes you excited to get up at 7:30 on a Saturday morning after a long work week!?) This is a group HIIT workout gym where they have a set schedule of their classes Monday through Saturday. I have tried out many different group fitness style gyms and this one is the best by far. I love how they explain all of the exercises prior to starting, but they also check on everyone to make sure that you are doing the movement correctly. I think this is HUGE in maintaining a great workout and preventing injury. This gym is phenomenal and you can see how they've really built a strong community. Sign up for a free trial week of classes and see for yourself. It is a gym that values its members and is super welcoming to new comers! I've been going to classes as often as I can for a year now, so I'm confident in saying how wonderful this place is. The workouts are always different and target so many muscle groups that can easily be forgotten about when working out at traditional gyms on machines. They are in the midst of painting inside and outside, but not sure when done that is all that is needed. First time I heard the AC go on, I was inside one of the rooms and jumped. Sounded like a small bomb dropped. Fairly clean, nice big room for classes with mats and the usual exercise gear. The women's restroom and locker need help. Beside a basic cleaning, I have never seen so many variations of door latches. Def the work of a handy man who is trying to make things work due to lack of funds. Half the doors don't close or lock. Each one has a creative different approach, you spend time going one by one trying each to see which will completely latch on. Good way to kill some time if you have it. The entire place is not particularly inviting for now but hope things get better. Good cause, good community building facility.
