Horrible procedures for canceling membership. When I called the Niles location to see how to cancel, the employee hung up on me.

Went as a guest and will never go again. Rude workers that weren't helpful at all. For a judgement free zone I sure felt judged

I'm hoping this review gets the attention of the ownership. Over the years this Avon Lake gym has…read morebecome a disaster. Only consistent quality about the gym is that they cannot figure out how to keep the toilet paper stocked, rags washed, or gym clean. The toilets are disgusting, the drains are clogged with not hot water, and there's never a manager or worker to ever be found. The higher management of the gym could care less what goes on there and will never respond. The gym temperature has always been an issue and still is. The heat is set to 72 no matter what time of the year it is. The door to access the gym breaks all the time or your fob will just stop working. I've seen dozens of people walk in looking for memberships but no one is there to help them. Stay away from this gym.

Very friendly staff. I love the place because it huge and has the machines and equipment alot of…read moreother places do not like Hacksquat and delt raise machines. At night time you'll see the crowd diminish pretty quickly which gives you plenty of opportunity to complete your workouts without much resistance. Rubber equipment considerably worn from years of use and will need tested for weight accuracy and worn ropes might be a hazard that being said it's easily my favorite gym from around the area. If you're on the fence about joining you could at least use your free trial and make sure its a good fit for you.

This gym is AWESOME! Not only is it super clean, the members and staff are courteous, friendly,…read moreand supportive. The group classes are fun and I get a great sweat. I love the personal training! And there are plenty types of equipment to get my own workout in. The reason I joined was for the self defense training. It's not a martial arts class. The training is practical and can be performed by anyone regardless of athletic ability. It's the real deal taught by instructors who have used it on the 'streets.' It's good to be prepared. You never know when you may need to defend yourself!

I've been sitting on this review for a while, hoping the manager or owner would respond to my…read moremultiple messages and calls and do the right thing BUT it's been two months (two years actually) and absolutely nothing from them, so here goes. In the Spring of 2020, I signed up my kids, ages 2 and 3, for water babies. It was supposed to be a 6-week class for $85 each, so $170 total one evening a week at 6:30. We'd done it twice before, and we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the pandemic hit. Understandably, the classes were canceled, then rescheduled and canceled again. I explained that the day didn't matter so much as the time, and we needed a late class because my husband and I both worked day turn and could not make an early class. They followed up with me once or twice after that, and I followed up with them as well, but they never again offered a 6:30 class. Finally, after two years of constantly checking for a late class, which again was never offered, I asked for a refund, which the manager refused. I called, but he never returned my call. I sent FB messages, but no one returned my messages. My husband called a few more times, but not a single message or phone call was returned. I hoped to work this out amicably, but I've since filed a dispute with my bank and Paypal. I've seen a lot of poor customer service and bad business practices since the pandemic hit, but this, by far, has to be the most unprofessional, incompetent, and shameful service to date. TLDR: I paid for classes which THEY canceled, now they are no longer offering those same classes, but also refuse to refund me or allow me to use that credit towards something else. UPDATE: After the recommendation from my credit card company, I reached out to the Atty General's office. The AG rep was able to actually get somewhere and someone from Reform replied with an unsigned email falsely accusing me of bullying and harassment. They've blatantly lied about speaking to me multiple times on the phone, but okay I'll take a gift certificates. But then after I accepted their offer, myself and the rep from the Atty General's office had to reach out an additional 3 times before someone replied again and said that they now would only offer me a gift certificate IF I removed my reviews. The mere fact that I had to go all the way to the Atty General's office to even get a response speaks volumes to their business practices. They have had my money for over two years now and have not once provided any type of service. At one point, I would've gladly used the credit towards private lessons but their lack of professionalism and frankly immoral business dealings makes me sick to my stomach.
