Does this Perry site allow members to jump rope? Some sites do. Why ALL sites don't is quite the quandary. Additionally, management needs to enforce texting & hoarding equipment policy. "Management" at these sites (all sites) is questionable at best. Members shouldn't have to complain first. read more

I recently joined this new Planet Fitness location. I've been contemplating joining a gym since I'm rarely at home and I travel for work. So this franchise coming to lil ole Perry seemed to be a perfect fit. I went in to sign up a couple of days ago - the process was nice - no pressure, very simple - the staff were really nice and helpful. If course, everything in there is new. I love the signs and bottles posted asking you to spray and wipe down equipment when finished. I fell in love with the massage chair and bed. Of course it wasn't crowded in there when I went in after 10pm, but all of the massage equipment was occupied, so I jumped on a treadmill for a little while. Had my own Bluetooth headphones, yet you need buds with audio plug in cable to listen to TVs whole on equipment - they're $5 if needed (and young lady smiled as she said , "They're purple too!" LOL Now I've got a new hangout spot that's also good for my health. I only wish they had a list of locations that have truck parking access so I can stay consistent while on the road - but I guess that's what Google Earth is for - to help me explore other Planet Fitness locations. read more

I've had a membership for some time now and decided to use it finally...so my husband and I started going and he would come in the tanning bed to apply lotion to my back, everything was fine for a month or so, til one day an employee stopped us with 4 others and said it's not aloud. I said ok. and went on. For the next month in a half EVERY DAY an employee would stop us to "remind" us , hey your not aloud to use the tanning bed together...even though my husband never used it and that was explained. it didn't matter. to the point I had to speak with management for the harassment to stop! When we start going back i'm being recorded by a member and when I call to ask if that's aloud, the lady on the phone is rude, unprofessional and disrespectful at best!! So, the Warner Robins location is currently closed so I am forced to go to the Perry location. My question is this...how many people does it take to wait on a customer? Two out of the last three times I've tried to access the massage chair I ended up having to leave because I couldn't get any help. There are mulitple people standing behind the desk doing nothing. I can't wait until the Warner Robins location opens back up. If it is more of the same there I'm going to cancel the membership and buy myself a treadmill. read more

I have witnessed many interaction from management and employees that were evidence based bulling. I don't believe the man working out meant to drop the weights as explained by himself in which I saw the interaction. Management was not perceptive with his explanation and apology. Management was vocal and continued to raise her voice. Customer left with disgust on face. Witnessed Rachel GM throw a family out last night because the App was not on the customers phone. Customer explained it wasn't an option. Again, management was judgmental and bulling customer in a continuing loud voice. Management wasn't cable of finding a solution. Nice facility, nice equipment and a great atmosphere. If they would enforce the rules about people sitting on the machines and texting so that others can't use them and allowing people to get by without wiping down machine after use. These problems are not rampant but it really passes you off when selfish people are allowed to get by without following these basic rules. read more

Was at PF in Perry and I overheard one of the employees giving a customer ( an older lady) an attitude and not letting her in because she did not have the app. I was let in by the same lady by using my phone number. The staff was rude and demeaning. Not everyone carries their phone in the gym. I don't. I just went on line and canceled my membership. I'll find another gym that has manners towards elderly people. read more

I loved this location and all the workers! But after they changed management it went downhill. The workers are rude, disrespectful, and discriminate. Witnessed the assistant manger (who claimed she was the GM (Rachel)) discriminate against a member for not having the app to check in. The lady was older and didn't have any more storage on her phone. The customer told the worker that and they still would not let her check in via phone number. However they let other people check in via phone number and key tag in front of them. According to planet fitness corporate, you are not required to have the app. The employee didn't give the customer another solution on how to check in and kicked the customer out. read more

The last 2 weeks have been more like a daycare and not a gym. What wizard came up with FREE for CHILDREN 14 to 19 until August 31. It has been a hassle for us members who pay to be a member of a GYM, not a daycare. Firstly, very few of them wipe down the equipment, they don't us common courtesy and these CHILDREN sit on the equipment watching videos as well as snap chat to each other. These CHILDREN are also NOT SUPERVISED and should not be allowed to do what they are doing while members suffer the consequences. If this continues I will move my membership read more

Easy location to access, tons of parking, and super friendly staff. My husband and I recently moved to Georgia and wanted to commit to a gym together and we couldn't have made a better choice. The staff, most notably Rachel and Tiffiny are always smiling when we enter and if they aren't helping another gym goer, are always up for a chat to connect with us. It's nice going to a gym where the staff recognizes you and treats you as a friend and not simply a customer. The exercise machines are always clean and well maintained, and I have never seen the change rooms/ washrooms look anything but pristine. The crowds are minimal, so access to equipment is great. The added bonus of massage beds, tanning beds and massage chairs provide a great option to treat tired muscles after an especially hard work out. A great addition to the team is Keith, the personal trainer who not only runs classes through out the week, but is also readily available to assist in any questions regarding work outs, movement, or fitness in general. I have been (reluctantly dragged) to a few of his early morning sessions by a friend and despite not being a morning person in the slightest, I really enjoyed the work out itself. In conclusion, I couldn't be happier with the choice I made to become a Black Card member with Planet Fitness and although I live in Warner Robins, I wouldn't think of not having this location as my "home" gym, because that's what it feels like. read more
