I just brought my 2024 F150 in because the wiper jets stopped working. My truck is 10 months old with 23000 km on it. I was told it isn't a warranty issue and that I need to use expensive washer fluid only or it will clog. In my 30 years of driving I have never heard this before and never had this as an issue in any other vehicle. I was charged for the labor to blow out the line. This should have been covered under my warranty. I am very upset that I had to pay out of pocket and was given such a poor excuse. read more

This place is a joke. We bought a 2013 Ford Edge sport with 22,000 Kms on it in October 2016. First red flag should have been when we picked it up. The gas was on empty and they didn't even have it cleaned. Are you kidding me? This is how a so called reputable dealership delivers its cars to customers??? Our sales rep (Gabriel) kept calling my husband "Bro" which was quite bizarre, its unprofessional and downright insulting to speak to customers that way. He used that reference over 50 times.. bizarre. So fast forward to May 2017. We go in for a routine oil change only to find out that two of the shocks are out and it's leaking oil???? Are you serious?? This vehicle was not properly tested for safety before leaving the dealership.. UNACCEPTABLE!! I drive my three children to and from school in that vehicle and it was leaking oil the whole time?!? Buyers beware before purchasing a vehicle. Have your mechanic check it out. The best part of the experience was when the Service Manager (Domenic Almonte) said he replaced the two shocks before putting it on the lot.. Yeah right! Any problem that causes leaking is due to a problem that has been there for awhile. They should not talk to customers as if their idiots, or maybe he thought because I was a woman he could say whatever he wanted. I bought a Toyota Corolla 1.5 years ago with 70,000 kms and have yet to fix something on it. So my husband was given a price on a Friday to have it fixed. Come the following Tuesday there was a $100 added to the cost. Service manager said he would help in bringing down the cost and labour cost but did not. Not only that, he never even came out of his office when he saw that I had gotten the paperwork or even say goodbye. As I was paying he just walked right by me like he didn't even know who I was. The cherry on top was when he sent a "Thank you for servicing with us" generic letter the next day. DISGUSTING. Never will I buy a vehicle from this dealership again, nor recommend them to anyone. read more

Always good service here at Planet Ford! They finally got a better coffee machine that does espresso, not too bad but an important thing when bringing in your car for service. When you bring your car in for service you also want a nice place to relax and sit when waiting and Planet ford is a good spot (the waiting area could use an upgrade). I have found that they are honest with the repairs and prices are fair. Hard to find now a days at repair shop. If you want good service I would say talk to Kelly or Ryan at the service desk, great guys that will go out of their way to help. read more

January 2018. If you would like an awesome experience here I would definitely recommend Blake Dowdall. From the minute he walked up and asked if there was anything he could help us with he listened to our wants and needs. He pretty much hit everything we wanted all in one truck and it was a reasonable price for my boyfriend and I . The truck is amazing and hasn't given us any issues in the time we have had it (almost a month). (The truck was previously owned) Blake was not only very professional and did his job well but he was easy to talk to seeing as how my boyfriend and I were very nervous being this is our first big expense and our first time doing something like this together. After Blake took us around the lot to look at the suggested trucks we came to our conclusion and decided we were gonna take her home. In my personal opinion I wasn't all that thrilled with Gabriel and the way he constantly called my boyfriend "bro" as I find that very unprofessional. Also if he recommended you to get something and you declined or said something he didn't I guess agree with his tone kind of became ruder and he would ask what you wanted in that same tone. Being that it was our first ever vehicle purchase from a dealership and that we were nervous beyond belief I didn't quite like the way Gabriel interacts with customers. We ended up taking our truck home the same night (only because my boyfriend knows the mechanic/ cleaner) who offered to get it out to us same day but overall it was an amazing experience dealing with Blake and I would highly recommend asking for him if you are interested in purchasing a vehicle. Purchased a f250 diesel back in 2014 brand new at planet ford every 40 to 60 thousand km I have had nothing but problems not to mention went in for an oil change and they over filled the engine with oil had to have them drain it all and redo the job waited 4.5 hrs for this.I have numerous issues with the truck with the dpf and def system door latch sensor issues paint started to chip away at 2 years old even with the rust control module the service people know nothing on what issues you bring to their attention service manager hasn't called me back after 3 attempts to get in touch with them my opinion stay away but Toyota or Korean lasts long no issues sad I've been a ford customer since 2001 but honestly they have ruined that forever left a review on here before but for some strange reason it not anywhere to be found huh wonder why maybe cuz people should be taken fo granted when they work harder then the people there at for we earn our money as a business owner when a customer doesn't like the way I plant a flower or lay a stone I make them happy and correct it . Always get an email from the Service Manager asking how everything went and so l let them know that wasn't happy having to come in for a second time to hopefully have my problem resolved? One of the most ridiculous bad service experiences I have encountered so far. Purchased a 2016 Ford Edge and traded my old Vehicle. When I dealt with this sales guy Gabriel and when the Bill of Sale was signed they went into slow motion. They promised to find me the vehicle that I wanted and it should not take very long. How could I doubt this because this guy continuously called me "brother"! I had to send him 4 reminders ( !!! ) and several calls ( !!! ) for an update on the vehicle and it took almost 2 weeks to find the car. We are living in the 21st Century for crying out loud. Ah well, I did not want to cloud the experience of a new vehicle purchase with the lousy service of a single individual. Once the vehicle was located I got it then also relatively quickly but a gift certificate of $ 250 which was advertised when buying a new vehicle was graciously forgotten by the guy when I picked up the vehicle. So we agreed that he would mail the gift certificate to me. Again why should I doubt this when I was called "brother" and "my friend". Again several reminders and no feedback from this guy, who should seriously consider changing careers. So when contacting his manager, that did not go very far either. That guy Eric did not seem to care very much. No sign of apology or I will fix this. Yes he noticed that there was no gift card ordered and when it was available ( two weeks later ) he asked me if I want to pick it up. NO I ASKED TO HAVE IT MAILED. After all should not be so difficult to follow a simple request. And then it stopped again. No further communication and this guy went into silent mode as well. So I had to send this guy also several reminders and had to become quite pushy. When I still had nothing in my mail box he emailed me that it was send by post 4 days ago. His excuse was that Canada Post is slow, especially this time of the year. Well, Canada Post actually was very fast because I got it two days after it was mailed, which was only after my last reminder and 8 days after he said it was mailed. So I wrote to him a little bit more pushy asking whether he is either lying to me or whether he simply doesn't know what is going on. Then his manager ( the GM of the dealership ) called me. Not to apologize or to talk about these screw ups. No all he was concern about my emails being pushy and that he knows the guy for 10 years. Seriously? Have you noticed something? We are living in the 21st century and I am the customer and customer service is huge these days. I felt like writing to the owner of the performance group, but I thought to leave it as is. PS : A friend of mine also got screwed by these guys with winter tires where their own sales folks did not know what is going on. First and Last Ford. Besides after one month I regret already buying this car which is a 20. ECO boost engine. Using 13 liters on 100 kms which very calm driving. And these FORD people are suing the VW people because the exhaust gases are a little high? Well their cars only use a third of what this ECO Boost engine is using. Pretty shitt When you buy a car from them they get you to get the best warranty than not even 5 months later you're "horn" stops working. The tech says "it's a known issue" but yet you're charging me to pay for it? Not happening. So driving a car without a horns pretty safe right? Couldn't even offer me a rental/donor so I'm stuck with a car with NO HORN, in Brampton. Months ago, we received a letter stating there is a recall on the fuel tank, and I will receive a call to schedule an appointment where they can check if it needs to be replaced. This happened months later. I had to take time out to bring the car in, where they checked it and said that I did need to replace it, however the part was on back order. Why they would schedule such an appointment when the part was not even in stock? Beyond me. They called me another 2 months later to schedule the appointment to replace the fuel tank which would take at least half a day. I was told by the lady who called that I should drop my car off on Thursday by 6:30pm and there will be a rental here for me (she was going to note it on my file) and the rental company closes at 7pm. This way I can still go to work on Friday. I did exactly that. When I arrived at 6:30pm on Thursday, they were more than happy to take my keys and then asked if I need a ride somewhere. I let the gentleman know that there should be a rental for me. He called around and told me to wait as the guy from the rental company is coming from about 20 minutes away. I figured - with my car. To my surprise, the guy from the rental company picked me up to drive me to the rental company where I can get a car. This wasn't explained beforehand, and was time consuming but I was ok with it as I believe this is the process. However, when I arrived at the rental company (35 minutes away from my house), minutes before 7pm, he had no car for me...I was told as Ford did not let them know to have a car ready for me, he did not bring one over from their other locations. I had to wait another 30 minutes until a car arrived for me and I could finally get on the road. A process of dropping off my car for a mistake Ford made, should not have taken me over 2 hours. I was pissed, but got over it. It happens... the next day I got a call at 2:30pm asking me to pick up my car by 5pm (I was previously told I had till 7pm to pick up). I rushed over after work ready to pick up my car so I can get home to my toddler who is waiting on me and yet again, Ford disappoints. THEY LOST MY KEYS. The entire staff in the service department walked around like chickens with their heads cut off looking for my keys that they swear were attached to my work order. It's nearing 5pm and the gentleman (I think Frank) who looks like the manager decides well, his day is over and he needs to get home. He suggests I drive home with my rental, pick up my spare keys, drive back to the dealership, drop the rental keys in the overnight bin and fill out all the appropriate paperwork, and then drive home my car. And then on MONDAY, I can call the guy who I dealt with when I dropped it off to see what he can do. It was Friday. So I asked him if no one will be looking for my keys on Saturday?? He was a little arrogant and said he's looking for a solution to get me on the road tonight. So I'm supposed to rest easy all weekend when someone who works at Ford, who knows my address, has my keys?! I stood around for over 30 minutes as they searched, fuming at this point. Finally they discover a sales man took off with my keys and went on a test drive (he moved my car). I'm assuming this is not policy! So 45 minutes later, I'm finally on my way with my car. They didn't even have the common decency to pull my car to the front. I had to walk around to the back of the building to get it myself. There was a lady who showed remorse and stated she will ask the manager to call me as this was not a great experience for me etc. I let her know I will never be coming back to Planet Ford again - I didn't even want to this time but I had no choice as Ford had a recall. It's been over a week, and guess what - no call yet! I guess since I told her I wasn't come back, the manager didn't waste his time calling. The service was appalling. I can't believe this sub-standard service is what passes for the norm these days. I do not recommend Planet Ford to anyone who is looking for service without added stress! read more
