Superdrug is a brand which either has good or terrible stores based on past experiences from Manchester to London, Liverpool to Brighton and across England - but this store offers facilities I've never seen in a Superdrug store before including a salon for women, and a barbers for men - normally they just have a small area of the store for women's beauty as this is a health and beauty retailer as well as a pharmacy, but it catered for men in that department too, offering a dry cut for the low price of £14 which is pretty good for the city centre, I've paid a lot more than that back home in Manchester too! The beverage selection was also pretty large, sadly it didn't have any Lipton drinks (these seem to have been replaced with fuze tea in every branch) or Starbucks beverages (some stores have these) The store, in general, was pretty modern and had a good range of products. Service and the queuing process could have been better as well as ensuring every part of the store was modern and stood out, as if not it just appears to be a little mix and match. 4* - Really good facilities for a Superdrug store in a central location, despite its flaws it is probably my favourite Superdrug store.

It's pretty much your typical Superdrug in terms of look/feel of the store and selection, the product range was fine (The drinks section isn't as good as other stores!) and the staff seemed friendly enough. I do feel the checkout area could have been laid out better, but again this is a common issue with Superdrug stores. I was able to find the items I came in for, there were some good offers in-store. I do find the opening times to be a little restrictive in the evenings, but this isn't exactly the store's fault as they can only open when the mall is open. 4* - A good Superdrug store which I will likely visit again next time I'm in Solihull.

Graham's stocks a vast range of shower gels, shampoos and various other bathroom essentials at remarkably low prices and the store's interior is very impressive, with spotless floors, meticulously neat shelves and ultra-wide aisles, all of which make for a very enjoyable, comfortable shopping experience. There are lots of great offers and a handful of bargain bins inside, and members of staff of more than willing to help when prompted. Mellow music is piped throughout the store and everything feels pleasant and laid-back, even when the store is busy, thanks to fast checkout assistants and a relaxed store atmosphere. They sell all the items that Superdrug are known for an at very competitive prices, even compared to other Superdrug stores. This branch is laid out very well and it's really nice to have a browse, the shop is bright and airy and everything is spotlessly clean. I love the range of body care products available in Superdrug and often stock up on their bits and pieces when they have things I want on special offer. Their gift sets in particular are excellent value, I bought a Lacoste Touch of Pink set a few days ago for my sisters Christmas present and this cost me £17.99 - a fiver cheaper than the nearby Boots store! This branch doesn't tend to have BOGOF offers, but rather they will choose a range of products and set the prices so that you are paying full price if you just buy the one but can mix and match them with other products in the range and then pay a discounted price for the two. The Aussie haircare range is currently on this offer with most products costing around £3.50, or you can choose two for £5.99. I like the fact that this branch is set out logically as I get so annoyed with other Superdrug stores because their products are all mixed up and it doesn't make sense to have shampoo mixed in with bubble baths to me! They have a good range of pretty much everything, the only thing I find this particular branch lacking in is the nail products as although they sell nail polish they don't stock many treatments or nail polish removers. I like their selection of hair care products as whether I am in there for shampoo or styling gel, they have a fantastic selection and are very reasonably priced. Don't forget to have a look at the shelf towards the back of the shop as this is where they display their 'reduced' items, some of the products here are fantastically cheap with one item I bought yesterday being a Maybelline foundation which usually costs £10 which had been reduced to just £2.49! Bargain! The staff in here are really nice and seem to know what they are talking about whenever I have had to query something. It is now quite nice to know that a bottle of Invigorating Seaweed Shampoo is no more than a 25 minute drive away, should my hair loose the requisite vigour. What Neal's actually does is various organic skincare remedies, including natural cosmetics, and aromatherapy. In my experience, stores such as this tend to be one of two types - either elegant, boutique type shops, or less professional looking types with not all that much time put into their branding, and Neal's most definitely falls into the former category. It looks extremely elegant and sleek, and I was apprehensive when I first went in looking for something for Mother's Day, expecting everything to be well out of my price range. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find that given the high quality of the products, the prices were extremely reasonable, with a gift set containing 4 different products costing just £25. Don't be intimidated by the sleek exterior, and give it a try!
