I don't even want to give this horrible place ONE star. This has got to be the one of the most contradicting offices EVER. When I had first arrived, one of the front desk ladies was barking orders at the other. I get it, you must be stressed. Me too, who isn't? Judgement free? Nope. Confidential? NOPE. Example: As soon as the patient in front of me left the building, the nurse and staff were TALKING ABOUT HER HEALTH TO EACH OTHER. When the front desk people realized that there was a person (me) still in the waiting room, it turned to whispers and then silence. At that moment, the desk lady went to go inform the staff/nurses that there was still a patient waiting. So with an attitude and constant apologizing for making me wait "because they had other work in the back" I then felt 1. super rushed and uncared for, and 2. felt as if I was intruding her time just by waiting there. I had made my appointment online for 10AM. There was no info on my appointment. I didnt get seen until 11AM. Where is the professionalism in this office? Oh and the room that I was directed into HAD DIRED BLOOD ON THE FLOOR. Did they even clean? I mean seriously, DISGUSTING. The nurse had REALLY LONG ACRYLIC NAILS painted with glitter. Isn't that a violation? I dont want those nails piercing my skin or entering my body. Those nails hold SO much bacteria. YUCK. BUT I had pushed ALL OF THAT ASIDE and still thought it was a safe and comfortable environment to get my womanly concerns looked at. ACTUALLY- I was getting ready to donate the rest of my money I had saved for this appointment to this office. WHATTTTTTTT before I was even seen? Yeah, that's how much I really care about my body and the body for other women. But to think that this place will give you the medical attention and care you want and need? LIES. Here's my how my visit ended. I had voiced my concerns and worries about 3 specific lumps on my body, and while I was there, I figured why not get a complete exam since its been awhile and I have some family history. Well after giving my full history and concerns, the nurse went to talk to the Dr/midwife whispering outside of my door. I mean at that point just come in and talk to me like a human or better yet, doctor and patient level instead of there being a middle man where words and stories can be mixed up. (because that's exactly what happened- words got mixed up) It was to my understanding that even though the pap smear was not necessary, we were still going to do it. Awesome. I was paying out of pocket after all and had specifically said I wanted to get one done. However, after about the 3rd or 4th time of the midwife interrupting me mid sentence and telling me how this is not necessary and they wouldn't give me another one for the next 3 years even if I asked, I finally just broke down and gave up. THAT WASNT MY MAIN CONCERN. I don't even know how many time I had said, then don't it, we dont have to, its fine if we dont. Again. She had told me this was the first they were doing this because it was unnecessary. YOU ONLY SAW ME FOR 5 SECONDS. YOU DONT KNOW WHAT I NEED. At that point I asked to go use the bathroom because I was so overwhelmed by being refused attention again, interrupted, and ignored, that I didnt even want the pap smear done. I went back into that room feeling WORSE than when I left my house. Clearly upset, I had said, "If you don't want to do the damn pap smear then dont, but I am here for a reason." At that point, the nurse was offended and said she wasn't going to deal with this and that I can put my clothes on and leave. GREAT. WILL DO. I felt that no one was listening to me, no one cared about my knowledge, my background, or my concerns. Clearly I was there for a very important reason. I mean this is MY BODY, MY HEALTH, MY CONCERNS, MY MONEY, MY TIME. Yet, you wont even give me the respect to get my worries out on the table so you can check them. Instead, you just want to get a documented history, waste my time, and make me feel like a piece of shit for being a women with a medical condition. WORSE PLACE EVER. read more
