She guided me through what to expect, updated my family history and file. She was so descriptive throughout the whole exam of what was happening. She made all my nervousness go away and I was as comfortable as one can be during this kind of exam. She let me know to tell her if I experienced any pain. No pain, just some discomfort but nothing unbearable.

First, parking is close and easy. Usually you can stay very close to the door. Second, the facility is small and check-in is fast and friendly and the waiting area is immediately accessible. They have a coffee machine, a table or two and standard chairs and couches for family and patients. There's also a TV and a monitor which tracks patient progress through their procedure for any waiting family or friends not inside with the patient. The interior waiting areas for patients having a procedure are standard hospital bays, with no doors, curtain access, but a recliner chair for companions or family members where they can stay throughout if they prefer. The privacy is perhaps minimal, but the access for the care time is easy and open. Every team member I've encountered here has been great - friendly, comforting, and this is important, they all seem to make a personal connection - even if it's small, that makes you feel seen as an individual. The Froedtert/Medical College is a massive organization and complex, so this is a very limited review of one area, which is the Center for Advanced Care, and specifically the Ear Nose and Throat Clinic. Been coming here for several years, and have always been impressed with the level of professionalism, and care. Especially the staff that work with Dr. David Poetker. Would recommend them to others that are struggling with ENT issues. Once you are in the proper parking structure, it's a quick ride up to the 5th floor. Get off the elevator and go east. I actually had shoulder surgery here in July 2025 with Dr. Kozempa. The nurses that prepped me were…read moreall very friendly and even joked around with me a bit while I got ready. Dr. Kozempa came in and went over the procedure and asked if I was ready--I said "heck yeah" and a few minutes later (to me) I woke up in recovery. I was groggy and out of it but my wife said everything went great and the whole thing was less than 45 minutes. I went home with my sling already on my arm and my after care instructions which listed everything I needed. Aurora even helped me set up physical therapy so I could go home and rest and not worry about trying to do that. However, 3 days later I found out I was allergic to Percocet (never had an allergic reaction before to it). We came back here to the ER and everyone treated me great. Figured out it was indeed an allergic reaction and they told us what we could use instead and they added the allergy to my medical file. It's been 9 months and I have not had a single issue with my shoulder! I would definitely want Dr. Kozempa to do my surgery again if it was something for orthopedics. He did a fantastic job, had great beside manner and now I can finally use my arm after not being able to for 6 years!

Nothing felt old or shabby. The front desk staff is friendly and fast. Check-in was a breeze. As always, the wait was not long nor did the appointment start late. The medical assistants are always great at these clinics and personable. The care I felt was tangible, despite this being a conversation and not an exam scenario. That being said, I didn't know there would be no exam and this could have been a virtual visit where I didn't drive halfway across town.It would have been super to have known that ahead of time. Rush hour traffic early in the day to see a gynecologist is not in my list of favorite experiences. One star lost there for not giving me options.

I saw this building being built and never thought I'd need to visit, but I had a referral for…read morephysical therapy and chose to try it out. When you first enter, the staff was friendly directing you where to go. Once I was at the physical therapy level I was quite impressed with how clean, bright, and open it was! I worked with the therapist (Isaac P) and his student, each of them were very informative and caring! They were friendly and attentive to what was bothering me. They were thorough in their testing and planning my exercise routine. They have an app which is very easy to use and the exercises were lead by videos and a time clock which was very helpful! My therapist was aware of the cost of treatment and wanted to ensure the end goal-while he enjoys working with his patients, his intent was to not see me again (aka be back to normal)! I love their gym area and the workouts. They're very mindful when choosing them to ensure it doesn't create further pain or discomfort. I am glad I came here for my care and looking forward to my end treatment and healing!
