I have reported Planning Folders.com to the BBB and my credit card company, Chase. I signed the contract on July 5th and still haven't received my ad. Here is an excerpt from the small print on the contract: (Planning Folders) shall perform it's obligation within 90 days of the Date of Execution, or if circumstances otherwise require, within a period of time that is commercially reasonable. I tried getting my money back before the 90 days, but they wouldn't allow it. Now that it has been well over 90 days, I have reported fraud to Chase. I hope to get my money back from Chase. They conned me out of $770 to advertise with them. I was supposed to have 2 ads in their packets (folders) for 2 different venue locations in CO. I have sent multiple emails regarding the ads, and I keep getting told that they are in production, blah blah blah, and that it takes 120 days for advertising to go into production once you sign up. Seems as though this company is a scam. A local wedding venue in Orlando signed up with them to make some 2000 folders. Planning Folders sold them a sweet deal and solicited all the advertisers. I paid $2000 for the inside folder in March 2017. Never saw a proof. The venue started getting concerned in summer when the folders still were done. Then I started calling and was told some 6 different delivery dates. Still no folders. It is now 10 months later and still no folders, no return calls. I was contacted by Planning Folders LLC and was told that they were looking for businesses to put in marketing material for venues. they were really aggressive about signing us up. we thought about it for a couple days and we couldn't find anything bad about them online so we decided to work with Planning Folders LLC for marketing my two businesses. We signed up for two adds for three venues in three states totaling in $1100. This happened in November 2017. I submitted my artwork in December. I did do follow-up calls to check on the progress of the pamphlets that were supposed to go to my venues that I signed up for. I always got the runaround and could never get a straight answer. After months of this run around I finally decided to contact the venues in hopes that maybe they received the marketing material. Two of the venues that I was supposed to be and said that they get calls all the time from people like me asking about our ad and they said they have never gotten pamphlets from Planning Folders LLC. One venue that I was supposed to be in, in Henderson Nevada said that some of the people that took ads out through Planning Folders got their money back by disputing the charges on their card others never did. We did to try to dispute the charges on our credit card but because we had exceeded the six-months allotted time our credit card would not do that for us. We found a news article On YouTube about Planning Folders LLC and the people being scammed through them never got their adds placed and the services were never rendered that they were promised. They now changed their website to Wedding folders LLC probably in hopes to scam more people. We still try to call periodically and no one ever answers. The venues that I was supposed to be in are very upset as well because they get people like me calling them asking about our ad and they feel that their business is being dragged through the mud (direct quote from my Henderson venue) Planning Folders bad business is affecting other businesses that have no affiliation with them. We tried to resolve this but it's hard to do so when no one ever calls you back. I did some investigating on my end and I possibly found a connection between Planning Folders LLC and Regnal Media marketing company. It is a different type of marketing company that has also had bad reviews and people complaining that they have been scammed. (The way I found this connection was someone that works at Planning Folders also works at that Regnal Media marketing company and when I investigated their site and read the reviews it sounds exactly like what Planning Folders LLC did to so many people) they are also only 40 min from each other on google maps. We don't want anyone else to go through this headache we are going through. We are hard working families just trying to earn an honest living and we feel violated by this company. All the stress it has Caused us along with so many other people they have ripped off. My husband called the news station that did the news article that we found on YouTube and they suggested that we come to this site and file a formal complaint to help get things moving along. Obviously, like everyone else has said, this company is completely fraudulent, and a big scam. (Jennifer M's 5 star review is either someone from the company, or someone who has not received their folder, and shouldn't be writing a review anyway.) They have the venue reach out to you to make it seem like they are legit. Then they try to talk you into buying larger ads and over a year advertising, for over $1,000 (which we thought was a good deal, but didn't really need it at the time). We did end up getting a $500 ad, and they sent us (what I can only assume to be) a temporary receipt, that showed up blank after a couple of days. Took forever to respond to my artwork submission saying they had to fire the previous workers. They actually created our ad for us, and made several changes that we requested from them. When we finally approved the ad for publishing, they never responded. I then received, forwarded by them (I assume by accident) a chain of emails from someone else who was complaining about their services also. They wouldn't answer our calls from a number they had down for us, but did pick up from an unknown number. The girl we spoke to said she would have the right people call us back, but we decided to try a different approach. We completely called them out and called them scammers. When we did so, the girl remained silent, and we said, "so I guess you have no comment?". Her response was to chuckle and say, "no, I don't have any comment." That gave it away that it was a scam and we reached out to our credit card company for a refund. We're having a hard time filing the dispute with our credit card company, but the owner of the venue reached out to us to let us know that all of the other vendors involved had gotten a refund within a 180 day limit. read more

Charged me $1250 over a year ago and it took them over 6 months to even produce my artwork which I sent them. They never have produced any folders for the venue or any other one. Sarah is the only person who ever speaks to me and lies. She promised this last time that the folders were in production in December of 2017 and would be at the venue before Christmas. That was the last time she returned my call. I am filling with the BBB and my credit card company, and small claims court today. The contract says 90 days and it had been a year. It also says it is for a year, but the description says they gave me 2 years. They refer me to a refund policy on their site which was invented and has changed. This company is a complete SCAM. Do not use this company, the will scam you and take your money, they will not refund you, but give excuses, never answer you and/or try to push back the "completion date" for the work further and further, but never complete it. I made the mistake in July 2017 by not researching this company after they called me wanting me to purchase an Ad from them. I would give them ZERO stars if it was an option. They were supposed to provide a photography Ad onto a folder with other ads and send the folders to Meadow Lake Ranch in Sand Springs, OK. I spent $498 for this Ad for these folders (that was supposed to be completed by September 2017), they (Daniel, the owner, and Sarah Tijerina, the art department customer service manager) are refusing to give me a refund. I have been ignored way too many times to explain on here since September, then when I did receive a response it was either along the lines of not giving me a refund or they were still working on it or they were waiting on one last venue to send their work, or pushing it back to be completed December 12th, 2017, which didn't happen either. I finally contacted Meadow Lake Ranch through email and the manager said they have never used this service and warn people to not use them because they are a scam. So not only will they not refund me (even though the contract states they have to refund me), but even if they did complete these folders it is pointless because it is a lie and would never get sent to Meadow Lake Ranch. I happened to be visiting the venue a few days later, so I asked them about working with Planning Folders. They said they were contacted about getting some free sample folders, so they gave them their information, and now they aren't being left alone by the company. They said they haven't gotten any folders and haven't asked them to find ANY vendors to advertise in their folders, unlike what I was told by PF. I received a call today from this company and immediately got a VERY bad vibe from them. First off they left a voice mail leaving their cell phone to reach them and didn't seem to know what their number was. When I called back, there was no voice mail set up on her phone. (Flag #1). Then when she called back she was very unprofessional in everything she said. Total scam! I'm a wedding venue that they called and told they were going to send me free folders because I had ordered folders elsewhere. I give a folder to every bride with all of our paper work in. We do not advertise for anyone just a paper folder with our name on it. I told them I wasn't interested at least 5 times and the continued calling me. He finally said well I'm just going to send you free folders with your name on them. Fast forward a couple months later I have mulitiple calls a week from local venders who said this company had called them saying they were working with us and wanted them to advertise in our folder. I knew nothing of this, and told every single person who called me not to advertise with them it was a scam. Coming up on a year later I'm still getting phone calls, some from people who have paid them and I advised them to call their credit card company and cancel. I have never received any folders, because if I did i would for sure help advertise for the poor people who have been scammed out out money.I have called and emailed them numerous times to get them to stop what they are doing and they tell me that there is nothing I can do. So I have put a warning on our website telling people not to do business with them, and that anyone who was affected by them I would be happy to advertise for them on our site for free, because of what the had to go through. Planning Folders is a SCAM!!!! They found me in a wedding-related Facebook group and claim to sell ad space in brochures that will be provided to various venues in the DFW area. I was told that a large ad would be placed in a venue's brochure for $750 for one year with an online version available too. I called the venue and they confirmed that they were working with Planning Folders for the first time. So I paid the money thinking it was legit. Well then I got another call from another rep there with a SUPER DEAL!! Same size ad in two more brochures and upgraded to two years for all three!!! After doing some more digging, I found horrible reviews on the BBB and here on Yelp. So I called one of the other venues they claimed to be working with and they said that they scammed them last year and never saw any brochures. They've been working with a lawyer to get their money back. I disputed the charge through my bank. I emailed Planning Folders letting them know I was onto them and they replied saying they were not a scam but they won't have a conference call with me and the venue they screwed over.
