Along with a group of friends, I recently had the pleasure of Chef Blake preparing an absolute feast over two wonderful days in Bentonville. It's hard to say what was the best as everything Chef Blake prepared was extraordinary. We enjoyed a perfectly prepared beef tenderloin and potato croissants with a brussel sprout salad followed by creme brûlée the first night, and a mouth watering braised beef, short ribs served with smoked gouda polenta the next evening. But the best of show award has to go to the red wine poached pears stuffed with mascarpone cheese. It was like nothing I have ever experienced before. Absolutely, over the top fantastic. What impressed me most was the work ethic and level of effort Chef Blake puts into every detail of every dish. Thanks Chef Blake for a wonderful weekend! read more
