To give context, I was leery of detailing promises made by shops as I had previously taken my black 2013 GMC Sierra to a couple shops that had actually made my paint worse and embarrassing to drive around. Massive swirl and buffing and cut marks everywhere for over three years. I figured I'd give it one my try and thank God I found Eli and Platinum Detail Studio! I opted for the ceramic detail with lofty promises of making my truck look new again and bringing it back from the terrible place it was presently at. To my amazement, my truck looks better than it ever has, and I've had it since it was only one year off the lot. Eli took a couple days but the magic and detail he put into my truck was worth every cent and more of the $600 I paid. He fixed the original paint as well as the sub par paint I had done on quarter panels. Oh my word. My car had small circular scratches from the carwash, and even though it was garage kept, it was a little dull (almost ready for a wax). Eli got the scratches out and applied ceramic coat. WHAT A DIFFERENCE!!! He did a magnificent job on bringing out the richness of the color. I would give them 10 stars if I could. I was able to book an appointment the same day which was great and I was notified when they were on their way so I could get my car ready. Let me start by saying this, this review does speak on the service of detailing, the skills of detailing or customer service to full extent. I read one of my fellow Yelpers review on Platinum Auto Detailing and noticed all reviews were 5-stars, now given there are only 11 but still it counts depending on the nature of the business. I have seen the pictures posted to the Yelp page for them but what convinced me was looking at the car of my fellow Yelper. You can just see the gleam in the paint, the cleanliness of the rims. This is not the type of wash you get from a Sparkling Image Carwash or a Cruz Thru. I asked and the Yelper provided high recommendation for this business, which was a few months back if I'm not mistaken. Fast forward to our present time, my wife and I just purchased a new car and we wanted to put a sealant on the paint and protect the interior. My kids are much older now but things happen, my 13 year old can be clumsy as well as I am. I called the business on a Saturday and spoke with who is the owner, I think he runs it himself. He said he was all booked up for the weekend but he is also mobile and can come to my work. Where I work, it is owned by multiple business and they do not allow services rendered on the lot and there is no parking on the street so that wouldn't work. I said lets schedule for next Saturday at 8:00a, he said yeah let's do that, I put you down and I gave my name. I drive up Saturday morning at 7:45a, garage was up and I waited a bit then he came out and I said, I'm Peter and I have an appointment for 8:00am for a paint sealant and some other stuff. His reply, "Sorry I don't have you booked for an appointment and I cannot do it today but I am mobile". I explained the phone call the week prior and he apologized and I reiterated about the mobility service not being something I can do. He took out his phone and said, lets schedule this for next Saturday at 8:00a, I looked at his phone and he was inputting the information into his calendar. I return the following Saturday at 7:45a and waited until 8:10a, no one opened up shop and I had some other things I had to do. Luckily I didn't order an Uber like I was planning on to go back home for my other car, otherwise I would have been more than just disgusted/disappointed. My fellow Yelper felt bad, they apologize but this is the thing, this is a place of business and I can understand the first time and I'm a nice guy who would forgive a 2nd time for messing up but 3 times to the same person? Maybe in the future I will try again because his service looks legit and would love to have him detail my other two cars that really need a face lift but only time will tell. read more

Quoted us $240 for three hours to clean our 2010 Honda Odyssey that's been abused for the last 6 years by our two small children and has never been deep cleaned. My van really was an embarrassment, but these guys spent and extra 1.5hrs to really get the job done well and didn't even gripe about working extra. Ran a bit over $200 for a compact SUV, leather seats, interior only. Very convenient that they are mobile and were able to work on resurrecting my "mom car" while I was at work - as a result I didn't have to take any additional time out of the day to get it done, which has always been my obstacle before. They threw in a quick exterior wash as well, complementary to the inside detail job. A very unfortunate part of the experience is when our car seat was taken out to finish the back seat, it was placed on the ground nearby while the interior was wrapped up. Normally wouldn't be an issue, but the seat was placed on a red ant hill for a bit and then put back in the car. We found out a couple of hours later and had to evacuate ASAP. A vacuum solved the problem a short while later. Owner was very apologetic. read more
