We stayed in the 4-person "cottage" which was really nice and modern, yet still rustic. Back 2 Earth is only a few minutes drive from the lovely town of Berry where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and things to do for a quiet getaway. I highly recommend to stay at the farm, not only for a different experience but for the beautiful scenery - how's the serenity? On our last morning Marc made us a vegan breakfast and a hand-picked pot of tea from the garden - I could honestly eat that brekkie every day (please see photos).

As much of the food is slow cooked, it didn't take long and it came a huge platter of 5 different stews and grilled meat. The grilled meat was marinated beef and there was also chicken drumsticks and eggs in a mildly spicy sauce, lamb that was literally falling off the bone, and three different lentil stews that ranged from mild to somewhat spicy. All of this is served with different varieties of injera bread and the huge platter was more than enough for two people and only cost $35. Such a bargain! Please note that you will eat traditional style so no cutlery is provided. Use the sink near the counter to wash your hands before and after the meal - that's what it's there for.

Our host for the evening Eddie (yes, THE Eddie) was humble, attentive, and had such a passion for homestyle cooking.
