Yesterday morning, (December 8th) I was looking for a mobile groomer. I found Platinum Paws listed on Yelp and went to their website. On the website, it states "Call or text for Inquiries". I called the number on the site, but no answer. I sent a text asking if they were taking on new clients and gave details about my two dogs along with my location. I never received a response/text back. I also tried to send an email from there website. Unfortunately, it wouldn't send and stated: "Please add a valid email" when I entered my Gmail address. If you're going to ask potential customers to call or text for inquiry. The least you can do is respond back to them. If you're not taking on new customers, then reply back letting us know. I'm giving one star at this time due to lack of response from the business. read more

No reviews in two years? Well that needs updating. We had Christine groom our two dogs on Monday. One of them, Sammie, had been groomed at PetSmart before; my wife said he "adored" Christine and tried to jump in the car with her when she left. The younger dog, Luna, had never been groomed before and is shy with new people. However, apparently she went right up and let Christine pet her. Luna was well-behaved and not terrified during the grooming, which was a surprise to me, but I guess that's the level of service you should expect from Christine. Now Luna looks fantastic and we have a standing appointment with Christine, and if you have the opportunity to make one for yourself I highly suggest you do so! read more

On her website it gives the phone number and says "call or text". I texted with a question, then found the answer on her website, then followed up the text asking when I can book an appointment. I never got a reply. Dear owner, if you are no longer taking on new clients, that's ok, but please update your website so that people don't text you and then wait for days to get no answer back, or get an automated reply service/app that will text people back "sorry, unable to accept new clients at this time". If you offer a text option, a phone answering message alone is not sufficient, the text route and website must also reflect this information, or remove the text option from website altogether. On a side note, if she does a wonderful job and already has a full schedule of existing committed clients, no amount of bad reviews regarding this issue will create the need to update the website/information. Hopefully, people will read the reviews first before wasting their time calling/texting for an appointment. read more

You should at least respond to your texts so people don't waste time trying to connect with you and can move on and find someone that is interested in doing business with them. read more

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Christine and Platinum Paws. We've been having our dog Pepper (Cockapoo) groomed with Christine for at least 3 years with a standing appointment. We love her!! Pepper loves her!! After a few nightmare experiences trying other grooming shops we will never use anyone but Christine. Pepper's non-shedding curly hair can get easily matted. But we have had no issues since Christine. Christine is so professional, so reliable, always on time, has such a wonderful way with dogs/animals (& people :-)), has an amazing grooming van and does the highest quality job imaginable!! We have had our Labradoodle Brody groomed by Christine about 4 times and we love her! How convenient is it that a mobile grooming service comes right to your house and takes a third of the time as a regular grooming salon. We had a dog years ago that we took to a salon, and he hated the experience. I always felt guilty taking him there, because they would crate him and the whole experience could take up to 3-4 hours, not to mention not being happy with the cut, and not sure how he was treated when left there. But Platinum Paws was the best find for our family. Christine is great in handling our pup, it only takes about an hour for grooming, and he has always looked fabulous! Also, afterwards he comes in the house wagging his tail and smiling, not anxious and sad. It's comforting to know that he is experiencing one on one grooming, and that he is right at home. Great service! I saw them featured one morning on a local news story and remembered the name. I sent them an email through their website inquiring about service for our 60lb pitbull/lab mix and they called me back right away and were able to fit him in the same day. Our dog is very timid around new people but Christine was very comfortable approaching him and handled it well. Christine recently groomed our ailing 18 year old cat Spot, who loved every minute of it. We could never get her to behave or stay still for more than a few minutes of brushing w/o a substantial amount of growling & feistiness. Christine was like a cat whisperer, keeping Spot calm, happy & beautiful when she was done.
