I had two girls come and scrub the kitchen stove and counter, vacuum and mop, bathroom also needed scrubbing, and windows needed cleaning and remove all garbage. It was worth doing, the inventory clerk who did my check-out commented on how good the clean was and said I'll have no trouble getting my deposit back, which is great. Overall five stars.

After receiving an email confirming delivery on the 17th, followed by one instructing us to have £40 in cash ready for the driver, my husband left work to ensure someone was home. Then we received a call from a courier saying the driver wouldn't reach us due to too many deliveries. He promised to call back--he never did. We waited until 11pm with no update and no sofa. We'd already given away our old one that morning, trusting the new would arrive. I've had to take another day off work just in case it comes today. Calls to customer service were cut off twice. No support. No accountability. Just stress and silence. We feel ignored, let down, and frankly shocked by the treatment received. I'm escalating this complaint and urging others to think twice before ordering from B&Q. Customers should never feel this unimportant.

Really helpful staff, my Mathmos lamp had seen better days, it had been relegated to the summer house, top dented and bottle had gone cloudy (had the lamp for over twenty years from the same shop). I bought a new complete lamp and a new bottle and bulb for my old one and I was given a top, so I now have two Mathmos lamps to keep me and the cats amused ;-) They stock lots of Roberts radios, some Kath Kidston style ones, really pretty. Well worth a visit, such a lovely shop, not modernised at all, true old fashioned service with a smile :-) The have Panasonic TVs in store as well. Next time you visit Chichester or the market, drop in and say hi.
