Pyramid Roofing just replaced my roof. Very professional from start to finish…read more They did every thing they said they would do. Showed up on time and worked until they finished. They replaced my roof in one day. In my opinion (best in the business). Raymond Thomas Valdosta Ga.

The inspector concluded that the roof does NOT meet code compliance & the ONLY remedy is to take it COMPLETELY OFF. Around 5 PM, the owner, Jose Lage, aka Joseph Lage, came to our home w/ his employee Levi Griffin. Jose never introduced himself as the owner. He & Levi continually disregarded the facts & attempted to make us believe that there were no issues w/ the roof. When asked about the shingles having one nail, he stated " there are no shingles w/ one nail." When my husband presented him w/ photo evidence, he said, "Oh, I'll give you that one." When asked about the 7 feet of architectural field shingles used on the ridge cap, Jose stated that the installers ran out of shingles but were planning to come back to complete the job. Levi chimed in & stated that he'd placed an order for the correct shingles that morning. Of course this was a lie: 1. A female representative from the company called my husband for payment earlier that morning. If the job was incomplete, why ask for payment? 2. When we started sending photos of the problematic areas, Levi called my husband & stated, "those areas will settle down, your roof will look completely different by next week". If the roof was incomplete, why not state that it was incomplete at that time. The owner, Jose, literally lifted a section of the roof w/ his hand & when my husband asked if that was correct, he said "Yes". When I pointed out the damages, he stated, "That was already there". Of course my photo evidence shows otherwise. On the back of our home, they laid 2 unsightly short rows of tile along the side of two existing ridges. Levi told me it was already there & he had pictures to prove it. I stated that I have pictures that show otherwise, but show me your proof first. He scrolled through his phone & never produced a photo. After showing him my proof he said, "well I think it looks better the way that we have it now" . At one point, Jose stated that the employees didn't work for him. I asked him if he understood what subcontracting meant. After we refused to pay him, he threatened to take us to court & place a lien on our home. Oh, don't worry Jose aka Joseph, we are definitely going to court!! After we continued to dig into Jose & Levi, they eventually stated, "You're right, this work is shitty. The employees have never worked on a roof style like this & they got in over their heads". Imagine the disgust on our faces at this point. No one in Valdosta or beyond deserves to be treated like this. Imagine how this lying, manipulative bully treats people who don't stand up to him. Imagine how he treats people who pay him & later discover his trashy work. Imagine the people who can't afford to fight back. Signed, Two Retired Air Force Veterans ISSUES: 1. Random shingles throughout the roofs surface on several different slopes have only 1,2, & 3 nails per shingle. This will void manufacturers warranty. Not to mention, the other issues that will be caused due to this piss poor installation. 2. Nails on several shingles that were shot w/ too much PSI coming from the compressor, resulting in the nail driving all the way through the shingle leaving only the adhesive of the shingle to maintain position on the roof. 3. Nails on shingles where the nail head stops shy of the shingle leaving a gap for water to enter through these penetrations & also not securing these shingles in place. 4. Nails outside of the manufacturers nail zone only penetrating through one layer of the shingle. 5. There are obvious areas where the installers did not use chalk lines for the shingles. There are shingles that are crooked & do not look uniform with other parts of the roof. Shingle exposures ranging from 3"-6". 6. There is no additional underlayment in valleys or transitions. They used starter shingles but no protective layers such as ice & water shield or valley metal. 7. The installer cut architectural field shingles in the shape of a ridge cap shingle & installed in parts on the ridge. This is not correct as these shingles are an eye sore & are not designed to be installed on hips or ridges. 8. Throughout the entire roof you can see little white paint lines. These paint lines are the bottom of the designated nail zone provided by the manufacturer. This line should be well covered by the following shingle & being that these lines are exposed everywhere the installation & placement of the shingles before nailing them in is also incorrect. 9. During installation the siding along all dormer walls & roof to wall flashing areas were damaged as there are obvious places where paint was peeled off & the wood siding was cut or hacked away at. 10. Scuffs all over the siding from what seems to be debris coming off the roof & hitting the walls on the way down to the ground.

They were done in less than a day and all of their employees were top notch including, Caroline, from their sister company Energy Pro. Coincidentally 2 days after the install we had a terrible storm blow through with lots of rain. We immediately started hearing a drip that sounded like it was inside the wall. That was on Sunday. On Monday I called the company and told them that we seemed to have a leak and I didn't know if it was their fault because it sounded like it was in an area that they did not install panels. First thing Tuesday morning they had a crew show up (4 guys) and they thoroughly checked our roof from the inside out. The problems they found indeed were NOT from their install but they went over, above and beyond to find the leak and help stop it until we can get the correct people out to fix it. Particularly, Anthony Seise, made sure he did everything he could to help. He was a God-send. He even took videos and pics of the problem area and showed us so we'd have proof when filing a claim. He and his crew could have stopped right there when they found out it was not their problem but continued to work to try to do a temporary fix since there's more bad weather on the way. I cannot say enough good things about this company and their crews and their work ethic. Anthony Seise is definitely an asset to their company. Thank you Sun Pro, can't wait to have everything running!
