This bag is NEW on the Michael Kors website for $127 and they're selling a used one they probably paid $15 for for $200.

They're charging more for bags than I retailer is selling them new. They also store all of their bags on metal cables so that you can't walk off with them but they end up damaging all of the bags they're charging you $200 for. In fact, they have a Michael Kors here that you can buy brand new on the Michael Kors website for $127 but they're selling it for $200 used.

This place was alright. I've been here three times and I didn't find anything I liked. And yes, most clothing here are suited for tweens.

Brooke, Jo, and April were the nicest employees I've ever had in a clothing store and helped me with every question I had.

I was in the mood for a little retail therapy, and as I love to thrift shop, I stumbled upon this…read morestore--only to stumble right back out empty-handed. Chiiile, these prices were outrageous for a second-hand or consignment store, at least in my opinion. On a positive note, the store layout was impressively organized. I was greeted by one employee who kindly asked if I needed assistance, which was refreshing--especially since the rest of the staff didn't seem too interested in making eye contact, let alone speaking. They do have an impressive selection of high-end brands in mint condition, but overall, this place just wasn't for me.

They carry an abysmally small L & XL section compared to the bountiful S & XS section (probably because they are not buying L & XL sizes from people who bring them in - I've brought in tons of very gently used and sometimes new with tags larger sizes and they only bought 2 things in total from me). I also have received increasingly more snootiness from the people who work here - they are nice, but they have a lot of rules. The fact that you cannot return anything for anything but in-store credit, which makes sense for Goodwill, but not for these prices, and also that the rewards are only applied to other locations makes my experience feel less and less buyer-friendly - almost like I am supposed to feel privileged to get to shop at their store. If I'm going to pay this much for used clothes, I honestly might as well use ThredUp online and save myself the hassle.

Their mission is to "provide emergency assistance for utilities, rent, and food for those in crisis in Arlington." Pretty awesome. Open Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturday from 10-5; Thursday and Friday from 10-6. It's nice and cozy in here. It seems like everything is placed with intention and there are cute displays. A lot of resale shops feel pretty unorganized and disheveled, and I get it because there's so many goodies moving in and out all the time. Nu2U is true to its "upscale resale" claim and feels borderline trendy-boutique-thrift. Home decor, furniture, clothes, books, jewelry, electronics... come shop, donate items, or volunteer your time.
