I called and was directed to respond to a soon to arrive text with a picture of the toe. I did and received confirmation that it was received. At noon, no response so I called and left a concerned voicemail. Nothing. I called again at 4 and was told everyman had left. I was told i could go to an Urgent Care clinic for care. Finally got an unpoligent call late Friday afternoon. Not a good experience. LK

Had a staff member get angry with me when I voiced my displeasure with the wait. She didn't check me in but instead left the room, slamming the door behind her. I could hear her talking about me through the door. At one point when the doctor needed a supply she opened the door and through it onto the counter so she wouldn't have to come in my room. Very unprofessional support staff. Need better customer service skills. Dr Hinze herself does a great job and is very knowledgeable and informative. Seems like they need to schedule patients further apart. Plan to wait awhile.

On hold for almost 10 minutes without anyone picking up. Ok, they had just opened and were maybe getting lots of calls. Tried calling about an hour and a half later, got a message that someone would pick up in approximately 16 minutes. Never did. When you call there are lots of options. I chose 2 which was to make an appointment or talk to the receptionist. Then I had to chose 1 if it was regarding an appointment already scheduled or 2 if it was for a new patient. No option to select make an appointment for an established patient. Selected 1, no one picked up, disconnected me after about 8 minutes. Then I tried 2, even though my aunt is not a new patient. On hold for over 10 minutes, then someone finally picked up only to tell me I called the wrong line, which I get because I was just trying to get a hold of anyone. Sounded like he was in a call center in another country, had a hard time understanding what he was telling me. Put me on hold to try and connect me to the correct line. He couldn't get a hold of anyone either, so told me he left my number for someone to call me back. No call back after waiting 3 hours, so I tried calling again. Of course I couldn't get through, so I left a message with my phone number. I've just never had this much trouble getting a hold of a doctor's office when originally trying to call first thing in the morning. It's now almost 4:30 and they'll be closing soon. There may be great doctors, but if you can't get ahold of anyone to make an appointment what's the point. I was being persistent because an ER doctor said to get my aunt in as soon as possible.

He has treated me like a family member and continues to be one of the top doctors on "my team". I am not a diabetic but I have severe neuropathy which requires constant monitoring and he has been there the whole time. He goes above and beyond. His office is small but absolutely worth the wait. You see the Doctor, no PA's or NP's. He takes the time to listen to you and all your issues. He is an excellent surgeon, but makes sure you need an operation before he cuts. One of my stories is that I was not going to be admitted to the hospital because the admitting doctor thought I just had a respiratory issue. My daughter called Dr. DiNucci to tell him I wouldn't be at my appointment and the reason. He came to the hospital and explained to the emergency room doctor that he was my doctor and I needed to be admitted because something wasn't right. As it turned out I had MRSA and it had went systemic. The infectious disease doctor told me that if I had not been admitted, I would have probably died that night. Dr. DiNucci saved my life! This Doctor is worth it.

If I could give zero stars I would. I busted my ankle near Xmas time 2015. I did the usual, RICE,…read moreand toughed it out for about a week. Couldn't stand the pain, went to the ER. X Ray found no fracture. I was told to follow up with my primary care doctor. The primary care dr said I probably tore the major ligaments. Sent me to Physical Therapy. PT helped but after a total of 3 months of being in constant pain and the ankle always swollen, I pushed for a specialist. The insurance sent me to Dr Scott Nelson. I should have done some prior research but was anxious to get some relief for my ankle. His staff insisted that I get the X-ray (their computer system couldn't access my X-Ray from Bellevue Medical Center). I visited the Papillion office in late March with my X-ray I had obtained and filed out paperwork. It was a tiny office-most of the waiting area filled with senior citizens (I'm 33 yrs old) and most were complaining. That should have been my foreshadowing which I didn't pick up on at the time. Dr Nelson was 30 min late and didn't apologize for being late. He barely looked at my ankle or wanted to hear "how it happened." He wanted an MRI. I emphasized the pain but he refused to prescribe any "narcotics." This took his staff 3 plus weeks to get scheduled. They weren't answering phones and when they did I realized this was a new location for him. One week it took 3 days for my call to be returned. The hospital where they chose to have me go for my MRI had called the morning of my MRI and said his office filled out the forms incorrectly and if not fixed I'd be charged for the procedure. The paperwork fixed. I then tried to schedule a follow up appoint to see what Dr Nelson concluded from the MRI. Once again, getting ahold of the staff was troublesome. I said I'd be willing to drive the extra 30 min to go to his West Omaha office just to book the appointment. The office was much bigger (several doctors must share the space). However, once again, Dr Nelson was 30 min late. Once again, there were no apologies. He couldn't figure out the computer system or how to bring up the MRI image. He didn't want to look at my ankle. He was still unwilling to prescribe anything. He wanted to go the route of a cortisone shot. I told him I'd had them in the past and they just cover up the pain and it seems like a "band aide" type fix. He wouldn't budge. He didn't have any other ideas. He said it wasn't "chronic" so not to do surgery yet. So how many months would you like me to be in pain before it's considered chronic? He didn't answer. My husband wanted me to try the cortisone shot. So, once again sent to The hospital. More scheduling. More hassle. Once there the hospital staff had realized Dr Nelson's staff had filled out the paperwork incorrectly. I was to get my ankle NOT a "hand" which was circled and would be a different dosage. The hospital had to call the office. More hassle. More wait. My ankle is severely swollen and still in pain. Please do your research!! In my opinion, Dr Scott Nelson or his staff won't take care of you. There is zero compassion.
