That's not the real problem with this business, though. The real problem is that both the chiropractor and especially the receptionist are unprofessional. During my appointments, more than once out of nowhere (we were not chatting about politics), the chiropractor pointed out that Obama is a Muslim. Out of nowhere. I don't care about his political leanings, but he should leave them at home. Nobody with any professional sense makes inflammatory political statements at the office. And then there is the receptionist. Batshit crazy. There was a news story about a lesbian playing on the TV in the waiting room. She shook her head and said to me "I know God gave the gays AIDS to punish them, but I don't know why he gives it to little babies." That was the last straw. I ledt and never went back. I now visit a chiropractor who does not hit me with surprise charges. And she doesn't bring her politics or bigoted nonsense to the office.

First, they have a whole onboarding program to do x-rays of your worst areas to make sure they adjust you correctly which is reviewed by all the doctors here before a plan is made, and then they do weekly adjustments to get everything set correctly before they slowly go down to bi-weekly and then monthly. Seriously, it's been such a different experience from any other chiropractor office and I love it. They've been so willing to fit me in any time or day when I have emergency back issues like when I throw out my back, and usually they can even get me in the day of which is amazing! Every single person at this chiropractic office (especially Doctor Young) is so friendly and honest and real, it's incredibly refreshing compared to any other doctor's office. And it's not like a fake friendly or anything, they always smile and say hi and even remember and greet me and my wife by name which is very much appreciated! They even have a little table for kids with a coloring area and tv so your kids can hangout in the lobby and color or watch a show while you get adjusted which is really nice and we take advantage of that every time to get a quick break from the kids while we get adjusted. We haven't taken advantage of the weight loss assistance option provided by Young Chiropractic, but my wife did do the therapeutic massage and said it was great. It was not as long as a normal massage and was more focused than just a general "relaxation" massage, but it was priced very reasonable for what was done and she appreciated it and said she'll do it again at some point. As for the e-stim I've done that every time I've gone and I can definitely tell a difference, it's totally worth it and I highly recommend doing that after you have an adjustment! One thing to add, I one had slight jaw pain where my jaw muscles were really tense and it hurt and they'd randomly lock up for a minute like a muscle spasm, and I told Doctor Young and he immediately went and got some tool and used it on my jaw several times on each side, and the pain immediately went away. Couldn't believe that was even possible, but I love that he's always there to help you with any pain or discomfort you have, it is so appreciated. Lastly, one thing I want to say is that many chiropractic offices and doctors will say or believe absolutely crazy things about what chiropractic adjustments can do, such as one we went to previously telling us that "getting our newborn son adjusted would help with him spitting up so much" (spoiler alert, it didn't at all and they charged us the full visit fee for his 15 second adjustment) or telling me that "all you need is to get adjusted and the muscles will fix themselves" (which is totally not true, getting adjusted does not replace still needing to stretch and be active and move around and not sit or sleep in odd positions) but this chiropractic office and Doctor Young especially do not make any ridiculous claims like that. Everything I've seen and heard from anyone at Young Chiropractic has always been absolutely reasonable and based on actual science and not just made up "adjustments will fix anything" like some offices will say just to get people to keep coming. I very much appreciate this honesty from Young Chiropractic, and it's one of the main reasons I love and trust this practice so much. Overall, I could not be happier with my experience at Young Chiropractic, and after almost 10+ years of seeing many different chiropractors who all didn't fix my back pain or told me it would fix things that it actually couldn't, I've finally found an office with honest and friendly staff, who give amazing care and are dedicated to making sure everyone who visits leaves feeling better and taken care of. I've seen too many of these fail and was determined to TRY and live with the pain which was becoming more difficult. I broke my neck many years ago and had a chiropractor that was always able to help me with my pain from that. Unfortunately he passed away. Then my major back problems started. Went to another chiropractor that basically just took my money. Never alleviated any of my pain and didn't adjust me the way I was used to being adjusted. Then a friend offered a suggestion to go to Sarpy Chiro. I was assured the type of adjustments they did was similar to what my old chiro did. I'm so glad I went. Not impressed at all. We met these people at the Sarpy County fair a few weeks ago and signed up…read morefor a low cost consultation, which turned into "we have to take xrays". I am not a fan of x-rays and was assured that they are "safe". Then the crash were taken while I had my old work boots on (more to follow on that). After telling my wife that her spine is all outnof alignment because of an injury that occurred 30 years ago, which they determined with running a wheel up her spine, they told me that my old injury is causing e issues as well, even though they wheel thing (hooked to a computer) showed nothing in that region. Upon my questioning that, I was advised that it's an old injury (9 years ago) and wouldn't show up anymore..... hmmm very contradicting to their previous statement about my wife's injury. This was followed up by come back next week to look at your x-rays. We come back and were told to sit in a group presentation setting with a pushy sales pitch why they are the best and all the money we spend here will help.us with our deductible so our other doctors visits could almost be free, all this while telling us if we get "aligned" here for the rest of our lives we wouldn't need other doctors except for emergencies.... weird again right?!? Then finally into a private room to meet with the owner who shows us the x-rays and says our hips are not even - did I mention above that our feet weren't even on the ground and we both as mentioned above weren't wearing good shoes/boots, so of course there's a good chance our hips may not look straight if our feet weren't evenly on the ground. Next was another sales pitch of just spend over $5,000 in the next 12 months with us and we will see.what we can do but can't guarantee any results as your bodies have old injuries and may not take the treatment. Let's not forget here comes the family discount of $800 and another $300 off if we pay up front... Finally came the final push I was waiting for, as a salesman of 20 years. "Is the money a problem on your decision to move forward?" SERIOUSLY!!!! You have no idea of my finances and the fact if I can pay 3 years of "alignments " or need to pay by the week is none of your concern after meeting me for 15 minutes and only caring about getting paid instead of focusing on your treatment plan. This was followed up with pushing us into our first "alignment" for another 5 minutes. As if I wasn't on the fence once we hit the constant contradictions and group sales presentation! This is a definite NO for me as I felt like a dollar sign to them and not at all concerned about "healing "my body. We will gladly find a chiropractor that cares about the craft and not just hearing the cash register ring...
