Absolutely fantastic experience!…read more I hadn't even heard of Switchback before until a coworker recommended it to me, and they've already made a return customer out of me. My usual bike shop was quoting 6 weeks out for a tuneup, but Switchback was able to get to me in 3 weeks, and boasted a 24-hour turnaround once they had the bike. Sure enough, I dropped my bike off on Wednesday afternoon and got a text on Thursday afternoon saying that my bike was ready. Everyone in the shop was friendly and professional, and I felt like the price was very fair for the service provided. I felt listened to when I was describing the issues with my bike, and I'm happy to report that every single concern I had been resolved by the time I picked it back up. To top it all off, I took a test ride when I got home, and I don't think I've had a ride that smooth since I first bought the bike. The gear shifts were buttery smooth, there was no squeaking or rattling from the chain, and my brakes were firm and responsive. Needless to say, I've found a new usual bike shop. Thanks, Switchback!

I picked up my new bike last Friday. I was rushed through the process and out the door. They never…read morehad me get in the bike to make sure it was adjusted properly. There's paint damage to the front of the bike, and the gear switch. My lines were left a mess at the front of the bike. There was grease left all over the bike. None of this was ever brought to my attention, and in my excitement I didn't notice until I arrived home late Friday night. When I was handed my envelope I had to fold it to get it into my pocket. So I asked is there anything breakable in here? "No' you can go ahead and fold that." I heard the disc break as I folded the envelope. I tool pictures outside the shop, so after I noticed the damaged paint I zoomed in later that night, and you can clearly see what I'm talking about before I had even left the store. I'm very disappointed with my experience, and all future cycling purchases will be made elsewhere.

The accessories are also very plentiful and from a wide variety of brands. The owner himself loves to talk disc golf! I gotta say, they definitely live up to their reputation! I am a beginner bike rider, so I didn't know much about bikes in general. The person who helped me, Josh, was awesome. He was very helpful, kind, and patient helping me figure out which bike to try out. I was most worried about sizing, but he walked me through the process and helped me find a height that was good for me. After I finished my purchase, he walked through some things with me to keep in mind as a new bike owner. He even helped me put my bike into my car! The other workers were so kind there and had a wonderful sense of humor. It did seem like a great group of people working there. They have many options for bikes, and are also listed on their website. They have their own parking lot, but there is another parking lot behind their building where you can ride a bike around to test it out. All in all, the workers really know their stuff and were so nice. They have a cute dog there too that roams around the place! I'd definitely recommend this place if you are a beginner bike rider and nervous about making a purchase.
