Thank goodness for Jamie. I'm so happy to have found her after years of struggling to find a…read morereliable, consistent and caring office for my primary care needs. After a lackluster experience at a functional medicine clinic in Portland I asked my beloved OB at OHSU for a rec for a new PCP. She told me everyone she could personally recommend was not accepting new patients and their waitlists were closed. A bit lost and very perplexed by this startling shortage of PCPs in Portland, I took to a mama group on Facebook and found First Nurses. Here I have finally found balanced, thorough care. I feel my western healthcare standards are being met (regular blood work, etc.), but Jamie also has an openness to and understanding of eastern, herbal and other modalities which I feel make for well rounded care. Not only does Jamie listen, but she encourages an open dialogue and collaboration which feel so rare in medicine today. I'm also happier knowing I'm supporting a small woman-owned office over the many Zoom and Brave care options which feel a bit too assembly line for me.

I confirmed before scheduling that this office provides Botox injections for migraines. My first…read moreappointment was frustrating from the start. I had requested a TeleMed appointment, but instead was scheduled for an in-person visit 45 minutes away. When I arrived, I was told it would only be a consultation--no injections. After the consultation, the Botox prescription was sent to Fred Meyer Pharmacy. The pharmacy called me and said they had no idea why Botox had been prescribed through them, which created even more confusion and delays. Two weeks later, on the day of my injection appointment, the office called about an hour and a half beforehand to confirm my appointment. Then, less than 45 minutes before the appointment, while I was already on my way, they called again to cancel because they had not received the Botox. Dealing with chronic migraines is difficult enough without repeated scheduling issues, miscommunication, and last-minute cancellations. Unfortunately, my experience felt disorganized and unprofessional from start to finish.

Took 4 months to get a appointment. I take meds fortunately I was able to get from my doctor. Met…read morewith the nurse practitioner I think that was her title She didn't want me to continue on the meds. I have been taking for 30 years So I asked to make an appointment with another doctor. I am a senior with many issue but I'm dealing with this When the office called to set up new appointment the person read my diagnosis and the last thing she said was addict I have only lived in Washington 4 months I had lived in California under doctors care for a real long time. I also had my records sent to my primary care physician here in Washington I understand her position but I don't understand here saying I am a addict When I call spoke to a manager who promised me I would get a call from upper management in 2 days. I had to call back no calls from them. Here is my problem how does someone come up with that diagnosis in 15 minutes. Never taking time to request and review my records. My favorite ending to this is waiting for the appointment for 3 months 3 weeks and when you go to website says opening available in 2 weeks. Someone removed that from my records. Got the run around I don't lie. So on top of trying to get into mental health and waiting I get a someone kinda rude.. someone changed my records and I am not taken seriously.. Do your research before seeing a therapist/ PMAHNP That's the title I was given of the person I video chatted with. Not even face to face

My partner went to Lifestance a few months ago for an evaluation. Their therapist took seven weeks…read moreto give them their results, which they had to physically show up to the office to get because the therapist ghosted them and the records office said they had no knowledge of a therapist by that name even working there. Recently I, too, needed an eval and decided to use Lifestance because I assumed it was just the one bad therapist. Nope! I booked with a provider who no one told me was still in training. I explained to him that there was time sensitivity to getting the eval scheduled and getting my results because I needed a diagnosis in order to receive the treatment I so badly needed. He told me in the intake session that as soon as my insurance came through, I could get in with him in 2-3 weeks and then the results would come 2-3 weeks after that. As soon as the insurance cleared (which happened really fast), I called to book an appointment with him. They told me his first available appointment was two months out. I said that was impossible because we'd had a chat specifically about timing. She told me he was listed as Out of Office for two months. Wanting to give him the benefit of the doubt, I left him a message asking if there had been some mistake since he hadn't mentioned a long hiatus. And if, for some reason, he was going to be out of office for that long, if he could please refer me to another provider, I would appreciate it since time was of the essence. Never ever bothered to return my call. Avoid this place at all costs.
