There is a reef offshore still within the protected lifeguard area which is perfect for snorkeling. There is no admission charge for the beach but chairs will cost you 4 euro for the day. Lots of British tourists and a few locals use the beach die to the close proximity of all inclusive resorts. The volcanic rocks surrounding the beach are attractive as they contrast with the sand. Many Lanzarote beaches have black sand. A tip is to go to the edges of the beach where there are less people. Water temp, even in the winter, is tolerable. Great views at sunset, as well!

This is a lovely beach not far from Celeste apartments where we were staying. It's clean, wasn't…read moretoo busy and we were able to get a sun lounger no hassle for €7:50 each. On your right there are lots of places to grab a bite to eat, a drink and do a bit shopping, walk further along to your left and you'll come across public toilets which weren't the best, dirty and no loo roll but also along this way you'll find hundreds of black crabs which I got excited about, my niece not so much but a lovely place to visit whilst in costa Teguise.

If you walk a few meters from the entrance to the beach, there is always enough free space and you are undisturbed. The sand is very fine and a mixture of black and white sand. If you go into the water it takes a while until it is really deep. So it's ideal for children.
