He keeps things fresh by encouraging them to pick songs they actually like rather than only focusing on songs from their respective technique books and he puts no undue pressure on the kids to move forward: their own pace generally works just fine. Unfortunately, none of them hipped me to their absolute no way no how zero returns policy when i made a purchase under duress and need. They kind of had what i needed so in a pinch, I was grateful. When my situation changed, and I would have gladly accepted store credit they said "no way no how!" to my humble request to return or exchange brand new stuff in original packaging. For a class that is supposed to foster a love of music in young children, the environment was far too harsh. After speaking with other moms, I've learned that our negative experience was not an isolated incident; many have had similar issues. That is one reason I felt I needed to write this post. If you are looking for a positive and encouraging environment for your child's musical education, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere. Our time at Musical Beginnings was a regrettable experience that we will not be repeating.
