The lady at the front (manager apparently) was not hospitable nor tried to genuinely resolve the issue. It took us 25 minutes to drive there each way. We would've appreciated no charge for that original trial to show us that we are valued as a customer who was willing to return. Every three weeks after her treatments we go for a short walk around the park since it's right across the street. Today, we received some devastating news about her cancer and so after her appointment we went to the park to have a moment with her before driving back to Greensboro. We were kicked out. We've never seen any signs nor has anyone ever approached us about no dogs being allowed. We've seen many other people with their little dogs as well. It felt like a punch in the gut. A place we went for solace just added to our pain.

She kept directing me to their website for events which half the events they've run this summer aren't even posted on the website! The park is great, the directors and management team are terrible however. She should be removed. They need a true lesson in organization and also respect- the golden rule. They don't care about our community and that is clear now.

Other tournaments have discounted rates for young children and also if you buy a ticket for both days. This place did not have any discounted rates. Also cash only accepted. There are ATMs at the entrance that had a line of people trying to get cash for the admission fee when we arrived. It's a nice facility, modern and looks fairly new. Good lighting and there's a little bit of acoustic dampening. Not much tho, but it helped. Lots of restrooms and they were kept clean. Concession stands were slow and the food was mediocre and expensive. But you're sort of trapped to eat there unless you sneak in your own food. Coolers are not allowed. Seats are the fold down stadium type seats. Hard plastic so bring your own cushions. Bringing your own folding chairs is not allowed. Parking garage was huge and across the street. Normal rate is $5 but for this tournament, we didn't pay anything. Overall it's a nice facility but I hope we don't have to go there for another tournament anytime soon.

Dawn really knows how to engage a group of little kids, brought all the supplies and activities, and cleaned up in the end too. The kids were able to make their own slime, their own "snow", some very cool crystals, etc. They had a total blast and I was able to just relax and watch all the kids have fun. Each experiment was preceded by a short demonstration and explanation of the science behind it, and despite being educational it was fun and kept even the youngest child's attention. Dawn and her assistant handled everything from the entertainment to serving the cake to cleaning up and packing up the party favors. It was easy, fun, and educational. Highly recommended!
