This is a small park area that is within a reasonable walking distance from the cruise port. It was dedicated in 1992. There is not much to it and it is more of something to view while passing by. The plaza is enclosed by a low fence. It is not meant to entertain visitors or have them lounging there. It is pretty much on an island, surrounded by roadway on all sides. The area is decently maintained and has some manicured shrubby. The focal point of a statue of a man titled "The Immigrant statue". The plaza is located in a somewhat busy area.
The plaza is intended for visitors to reflect on migration to the island and embodies the territory's spirit of resilience and diversity, As I mentioned, this was not a very long stop at all. I was there less than 5 minutes. I love the intent of the plaza read more
