Located in the Lake Hills shopping plaza, parking can be rough with all the surrounding businesses. However, IFB has dedicated parking spots right out front of the shop for 30 minutes, which was perfect for me. The space isn't very large as the selection is limited. But I was surprised to find a butcher shop inside here as there was a line of people waiting to get fresh cuts of meat from a window at the back of the store. They also sell takeout meals in the refrigerated section, which were mostly curries. The Dubai chocolate, which I came for, was located right by the register. They also sell the pistachio cream if you just want that, as well as other chocolates from Dubai if you don't want the famous, viral pistachio one. And yes, it was good chocolate. Overall, this isn't a store I would frequent unless I need more Dubai chocolate when Trader Joe's predictably sells out of their $4 version.

I was very impressed with the store! There's a large selection of groceries and frozen goods from popular Asian brands. Not to mention, popular skincare and trinkets. But what stood out to me the most was the prepared food and bakery section!! So many options from a hot food bar, to sushi and drinks, to the cutest cakes you can order. We got packaged egg tarts from the bakery area, and they were so flaky and silky. Would definitely recommend putting them in the oven so they get extra crispy. Can't wait for the one in the Bay Area to open!

They have a better selection of chilis than other supermarkets at much lower prices. The cashier/clerk who works there is also super helpful. In my last trip, I was looking for epazote, and not only did she point me out where it was, but even helped me find the freshest bundle of epazote she had in her fridge. I hope to continue exploring Mexican cooking, and I'm glad I have La Superior here to watch my back.

Aside from the sales offerings, I still think the pricing on items seems a little higher than T&T and S-Mart. Shopping experience has improved a little as there are smaller crowds at the store because of the T&T effect. It was and still is a pain to check out as the line can be long. Wish they had self checkout. If you want a quicker shopping experience, shop here on weekdays and avoid coming in on weekends.
