My friend told me about this spot so I decided to check it out while in the area for work recently. It's a cute, bright coffee shop with plenty of seating. I think it's maybe a wine/cocktail bar at night too? They serve coffee as well as crepes and sandwiches at breakfast. I wasn't hungry so I just got a mocha, which was tasty and served in a nice big mug. I was able to get a seat near an outlet which was nice. It looks like they may have some outdoor seating in the back for warmer months. The free wifi was fast and helped me get a lot of work done while I was there. Street parking was easy to find and I would come back to this cute shop sometime again! I'd love to try a crepe, they all sounded tasty and I loved the savory options. read more

the employees need to be trained more! my chai was way too sweet to the point where it's basically undrinkable. instead of saying double and single shots they just ask if you want a large or small, me not knowing this ordered a large and got a small coffee with way too much coffee for me. do better employee training pleasant city!! read more

We often stay in Clare and I was looking to go a little farther out for breakfast. This place is wonderful! Delicious crepes & potatoes, great choice of coffee drinks. My daughter ate her whole pizza bagel. The service was great, and the interior was clean and beautiful. The real gem was the back garden. We ate back there and it really was lovely. read more

Ordered the Crêpe Monsieur, a Banana Nut Latté, and my friend ordered a Vanilla Rose Latté. We really liked the atmosphere! The barista was super sweet, brought out our lattes and crepe out to us on the back patio. Overall great experience! Crêpe Monsieur - The crepe was sweet, the ham was Smokey and the cheese made a delicious crepe! Banana Nut Latté - Artificial banana flavor (beware for people that don't like that artificial fruit taste) but I loved it! Tasted a bit like banana nut bread. There was nothing particularly wrong about this place. The drinks and food were good, the ambiance is good, but it just felt weird. I've been here a few times on my way to work, and once just to hang out on a weekend. This is a pretty chill coffee house! The owner is really nice and the coffee is absolutely amazing. Sure, it takes like twice as long as Starbucks, so don't come if you're in a rush. But if you want a really nice brew and you have a few minutes, this place is awesome! I love that they use paper straws, there is free wifi, there are beautiful window seats to people-watch, and the overall atmosphere is bright and cheery. While exploring Mount Pleasant, we came across this coffee shop in downtown. From outside, it doesn't really say "great coffee served here". What a pleasant surprise when we came in and tried out they brew of the day called Santa Sofia! Absolutely the best coffee this side of M-20. I think it's superior to that ubiquitous coffee chain from Seattle. When you're in the area do check them out and do yourself a favor. Buy local. read more

Really cute place. Wood accents, kitschy fixtures, and a color palette that's *pleasant* to look at. There's WiFi that you have to ask the password for so the network is secure. Good place to work or to have a date, I certainly liked mine. Ordered an iced lavender latte with 2% (two shots) and iced vanilla rose latte with almond milk (one shot). Both of them are lovely! My boyfriend bought that his lavender latte could have just used the one shot instead of two because it tasted more of espresso and covered the lavender taste but I think it's still there. I'm not a creature of habit but I definitely would order the vanilla rose again especially because I love the taste of boba. I'm abled so I didn't ask but we were served our drinks that we ordered to dine in with metal straws and were not asked if we needed plastic. Saw paper straws at the register but I know that those with Pica can't use those either. Overall, truly recommend this place read more

I love this place and don't go near enough! My first time there, the owners were there. They chatted with me. Super family friendly. Fast service. Drinks made perfectly. Back room area for kiddos or total quiet. Free wifi (with password). I was finally able to order something when they were actually open during their scheduled hours (a rare occurrence for Pleasant City). I have many friends who have had this same problem when they look to stop by for a coffee as well. Aside from their unpredictable hours of operation, I ordered an iced coffee with almond milk (apparently they "usually" have soy milk but didn't the day I ordered for some reason), only for it to separate and get chunky. It was undrinkable. The only thing they really have going for them is their friendly attitude and the Cops and Doughnuts they get from Claire. read more

Great little coffee shop, it was kind of hidden, but was a great experience. The owners were very polite, the art work they had up was great, the shop was clean and the coffee was done quickly. The only negative, was that the coffee was a bit stronger than expected. We will be going back. read more
