Customer service was mid. The rest went down hill from there. Three hours to order glasses when everyone around us were coming and going with their orders every 20 minutes. We were there until after they closed. Then the wrong prescription readers were ordered and since they were my free ones, they would not order another pair so I donated them. Here Today! It's time to update my eye prescription and in this small town, a person can't get a in the very near future appointment. Where the hell am I again?! I promise I called at least ten differed Optometrist Offices in 2 weeks and up to 45 miles radius and NO appointments. Good lawd, really? I didn't Yelp, that's what happened. I promise traveling around the World being in so many people's energies and elevations discombobulates me. The struggle is real y'all, it's real for a pipette. Meditation brings answers, so I Yelped and found Pleasant Optics and they was within 5 miles of my hotel, I got me an appointment within 2 days. I was desperate because, I ruined my current lenses and my vision and visibility is vitality important, I need to see clearly now the rain is gone, I need to see all the obstacles in my way (can you guess who sings that song?). Very nice office and staff. The tech that walked me to the back, looked at my lenses and felt so sorry for me. Due to my profession and condition of my eyes, I get high performance lenses; I was very careless and would open my oven with my glasses on and it affected the coating on my lenses. My vision is crucial to my driving and it's a must I LOOK my best in my frames hunnnie I say that along with 3 snaps of my fingers. Hey, did y'all know modern technology doesn't require dilation as part of our eye exam anymore? How bout that? Well, the tech talked me through the initial part of the exam like I was a kid, she was so sweet I wanted a lollipop afterwards. The Optometrist did a thorough eye exam and explained my condition which I already knew---I got some seriousness going on with my vision. The exam was only $95 without insurance which is much less that many quoted as I called around. They offered many new styles and cost for my script is about the same as I've paid in the past. My frames are very important for look and they offered several I would had chosen but my mind is made up, I have my sites set on 2 pairs for the price I pay for designer online. Here today. In 58 years I have never been to an establishment that did not disclose charges like this place did. A year ago I went to their establishment and before I went I confirmed exactly what my cost would be because I am on Medicare prior to my appointment. About 3 weeks after my appointment I received a $60 bill claiming he did extra medical things which were never informed to me nor has it ever been done to me before nothing new same procedures yet a new charge and they claim my insurance doesn't cover it. I was obviously displeased with them and explained at that point I would never return. Here it is a year later and I've received another bill from them. I cannot imagine running a business the way they do. Trust me, if you need to get your eyes checked and you decide to go there make sure before anything is done while you're seeing the doctor Make sure he's telling you about extra charges right then and there so that you are not blindsided. read more

Very disappointing service. I was supposed to get my new glasses in 2 to 3 weeks and now at 3.5 weeks and no idea of when I will get them. The staff doesn't seem to care that I am getting migraine headaches every day. I believe this is some of the worst service that I have ever had. read more

Polite and agreeable staff even if dismissive of the underlying problem, a questionable optician and prescription. Three different lenses and two eye exam/prescriptions later and they still didn't get it right. The first exam and glasses at SVS ended up perfect, and completely different than what these guys prescribed. The one plus is they gave prompt refund of money. read more
