You will be able to get in here quickly but I recommend taking your prescription somewhere else for your glasses. This place takes forever. I ordered glasses over 2 weeks ago and was told they would arrive in 2-3 weeks. I call today as I was assured at the end of last week they would be shipped by Tuesday and arrive by end of week. I call them on Wednesday to check on the ship status and am told that the lab had a "lens breakage" and they won't ship out for at least another week. This is a problem as I will 5,000 miles away for my job for an extended period of time, this is why I was so specific in asking about time expectations. If they had said it would be over a month I would not have placed the order. I paid completely out of pocket the entire cost of the frame. Now they tell me they cannot refund my money and they cannot do anything to get them quicker. Out around 700 dollars for glasses that are useless as I need new ones for the job I am starting and will have to order them online. Listen to the reviews and get your frames somewhere else, I wish I had. read more

Lost screw for arm of my glasses, stopped in to have repair. Staff was friendly and fixed my glasses quickly.

I took myself and my daughter there to get our eyes checked. It was a great visit and exam but the receptionist/manager Sue is very rude. I called to check the status of my glasses and i admit i called twice in one day once in the morning and than i called back in the afternoon just to see if they came in at a later time. She proceeded to tell me that she had already talked to me 3 or 4 times now when in which i hadnt. She called me the next day to give an update and still told me she had talked to me 4 or 5 times and that they were hopoing for my glasses to be in by the end of the week. She called me again friday and said im just giving u an update on ur glasses and tells me they didnt make it to truck or whatever at ups to be in by today and tells me it should be monday or tuesday. So i call back today and got a better person and actually told me why it has taken so long and apologized. I did complain to her about her manager/receptionist. Btw my daughters glasses came in already just havent gotten them cuz i would perfer to pay all at once and not make multiple trips. Needless to say we will not be going back. This has been almost a month since our apppointment. Our apppointment was march 21st. read more

I had a similar experience to a reviewer here on Yelp (named: Marty S). So it's probably an excuse they are pulling all the time. They blamed it on the frame. I've been there twice, 2014 & 2016, ended up with a useless pair each time. Neither fixed nor refunded. read more

I too had a similar experience as the other 2 reviewers on this page. The only reason I am giving this place 2 stars is because of one employee (Joelle) - otherwise it would be a 1 star review. The first time I came to order glasses, my experience was okay. When I received the glasses, I could not see out of them while driving (i.e. far away vision was impaired). I returned to Traverse Vision, and they told me that my prescription must be wrong. My prescription has not changed for ~10 years, so I knew this was not the case. The apathetic and rude person I spoke with told me that the glasses were "really bent" when I received them (not sure why I was given super bent glasses that were supposed to be brand new), so she straightened them and told me to try again, and if that didn't work then I would need to return to my ophthalmologist (in Chicago) for a new prescription. When I still could not see out of them, I was fortunate enough to speak with Joelle, who actually showed some compassion and understanding that I needed to see out of these glasses. She took further measurements (the optical height was incorrect), and had the glasses remade for me (no charge). I am so glad I was able to speak with someone who actually cared enough to get me the product I paid for in the first place. I would not recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a hassle-free experience in getting new glasses (unless you are able to talk to Joelle). read more

Had the worst experience ever! Paid for an eye test; picked out my glasses; paid cash for everything. When I picked out the glasses I was told that everybody loves those frames; they are the most popular frames they have. Fast forward to me picking up my glasses and going back to work. I can't see anything! Everything is blurry. The only way I can see a document is to hold it 4 inches from my face and I couldn't see my computer scene unless my nose was way up in air and my face was a few inches from the screen. I called them immediately and they suggested that I let my eyes rest and try again first thing in the morning. So, I followed their advice...except the next morning I still couldn't read anything on my I-pad or I-phone...everything was blurry. Needless to say, I couldn't use these new glasses at work because it is imperative that I be able to see the computer screen. Traverse Vision suggested that I get my eyes re-tested, which I did; same prescription. Now, they decided that it is the frames; they tip out at the bottom which is causing a distortion. Their lab guy tries to adjust the glasses but that doesn't work. Now, they suggest I pick new frames and stated that they had never sold this frame before...I was the first person to order them. Quite a difference from "everybody loves them; they are their most popular frames". I looked and looked and quite frankly could find any frames that I liked. The manager kept saying that she didn't know what to do. I said I didn't feel like I had to pick out a pair of frames that I didn't really like just because that's all they had. She suggested that I come back when they get new frames in but when I asked when that would be, she again didn't know. I mentioned that it was pretty unreasonable to expect me to keep coming back week after week hoping they had some frames that I would like. Again, she states she doesn't know what to do. I then requested that she refund my money. She said she would have to speak to Corporate because she didn't know if she could do that. Well, the verdict comes in from Corporate that they will refund my money except for a $60 restocking fee. I wasn't happy but I took the refund as I had already spent well over $500 and was worried I wouldn't see any of my money back. I will never use them again and I definitely recommend you go anywhere else but here. They gave me faulty product, lied about how many they had sold and then had the gall to charge me a restocking fee because I couldn't find another pair of frames in their limited stock. read more
