We enjoyed the free samples on hand with the cheese dip and chips. The grocery section was fun and my kids made sure that I would not leave the shop without buying the pop corn that would pop off the cobb. Upstairs, there is a really nice selection of Christmas decor. We loved the animatronics, especially the ice skaters gliding on the artificial ice. Before you leave, a great photo opp is available in front of the store with it's bright red Love sign. I gathered up the family and someone helped snap our photo. We thought this was a great stop.

The top of the $400 dresser I bought was covered with a runner and on top of the runner was a…read moreselection of several large lamps for sale and several Knick Knack/tchotchke items for sale. Although I looked over the dresser, opened the drawers, etc., I did not move all the lamps and many assorted knick knacks. I then paid for the dresser and made arrangements to pick it up the following day. When I returned to pick it up, there was a VERY LARGE split in the wood, ALL the way across the entire top of the dresser and way too wide to repair by any method. This major damage had been covered by the runner, the lamps and the knick knacks. So . . . Usually, normally, sellers will be transparent about damage, flaws, chips, cracks etc., and then it's up to the buyer to move forward with the purchase or not. Because the damage was so extensive, I did not think the dresser could be transported without breaking completely in two. Because the damage was hidden/concealed, I felt deceived. I pointed this out to the staff, who launched into their "no refunds" spiel before I could even finish my sentence. I was rather abruptly offered to the "opportunity" to leave the dresser (and my $400) behind if I no longer wanted it. Still, I extend Kudos to Twice Is Nice for serving seniors in need!! Thank you to the volunteers who offer their time. Thank you to the folks who donate. If an item is damaged, you don't have to attach flashing lights or a neon sign, but it's not "nice" to cover it up, then pile it high with multiple heavy items making the damage almost impossible to detect until too late to make an informed purchase decision.

I then rolled down my window and she said " Are you getting ready to leave?! You obviously can't park here look at the signs!" I assumed she thought there's no way this dude in his beat up car is going antique shopping and assumed I was I guess just hanging out in my car? Legit just got out $1,800 cash to enjoy a Sunday of antique shopping to decorate my new cabin I bought up on the mountain. It was 9:56am when she pulled up beside me and the store said it opened at 10am. I was parked in a parking spot in front of the store! I'm absolutely mind blown but I will never go back in that store as long as I live and nobody I know that is huge into the antiquing community will be going there either! So to the owner next time don't judge a book by its cover because you just cost your buissiness a lot of future money. I can't believe people are even that nasty. So if you decide to shop there make sure you dress to impress! Note: The owner is now on google saying that I had a "few choice words" when I said back to her "I guess I can leave?" Acting like I was the one to blame and lying while saying she was already there before I was, she pulled up beside me about a foot away from my car like a bat out of hell, I assume because she was mad. Just made her even worse she's not only nasty and rude but now a liar.. you won't be open long with treating customers like that and I'm sure I'm not the first to feel this way. Very disheartening. The driver accidentally delivered it to the wrong house. It took me ten minutes to find it and retrieve it from my neighbor, but Jordan was so mortified they comped my pickup & delivery fee.
