I did my little investigation and it appears the wire inside the dry wall was cut due to drilling as they laid out a new line to the house. I called and spoke to Mike and informed him. He wanted to come back but I had to leave the house to catch my flight. Got back three days later and Mike was there the next day. I had old sensors so he had to rewire them and everything worked great. Now, that to me is great service and I recommend these guys especially Mike...

Derek C is a liar and a cheat, He came to my home and upcharged me from the $600 agreed upon amount to $1850 because he said I had a 1500 gallon tank AND because he had to backwash my system 4X, he ALSO said I had no bacteria in my tank and chemical needed cost 500 more. Being a first time septic tank owner, I knew nothing about septic tanks so I agreed and paid for the work to be done. This was October, in early 2026 I noticed a little standing water but thought it was from my wife watering her plants. In late March I performed our first lawn cut and was concerned when I saw how mushy it was above the tank where CURRY had pumped my tank so I called Derek and he came right out. Upon arriving he immediately said he had seen this dozens of times, that I must have a running toilet, I needed to wait for two weeks and it would clear up. I said I didn't think any toilets were running but I did know one toilet needed to be jiggled sometime to stop it from running. A flapper replacement fixed this but this toilet was NOT running. I was NOT convinced of this being the issue but agreed to wait for the two weeks he said it would dry up. I waited a week and clearly saw it was not drying up, so I called Derek back and he said in anger if I wanted "immediate gratification" for $600 he would come and pump down the excess water in the tank. I called another company and they said it was likely a clogged filter or a leech field issue. I agreed to the $400 charge to come out and inspect and clean the filter. When Bulldog plumbing came out Conner immediately handed me a county record showing I did not have a 1500 gallon tank but a 1000 gallon tank. He reiterated the problem was likely the filter was clogged so they probed for the access panel. When he asked me where the 2nd access was to the 2nd compartment we realized CURRY had not accessed or pumped this 350 gallon section of my tank nor had they cleaned or replaced the filter BUT had charged me and accepted payment for services not rendered. I then realized they had not only overcharged me significantly for a 1500 gallon pump out but they had only pumped out 650 gallons and had not cleaned the filter for which I had paid to be done. I called Derek and told him I wanted him to have the opportunity to fix this mess he had created. He said he would send a man to finish accessing the 2nd compartment and see what the problem was. His helper arrived and between he and I we finally were able to clear the standing water with my pump and his shovel and gained access the tank. I saw immediately that the overflow pipe was underwater. He then reached down and removed the filter and the water whoosed out, then slowed and in a few minutes I heard the water running freely through the leech field. The next day Derek came out and completed pumping out the second compartment and left a mess of Blackwater contamination. Bulldog returned that afternoon and filled the dirt back in the hole left by CURRY after installed extensions to the access panels. I contacted CURRY to get his insurance information to file a claim and requested a $500 refund, he blew up and said "I am not giving you my insurance companies name and I will not talk to you about this". I was surprised and simply asked him if he was sure this the route he wanted to take, and he said "I will see you there." He is an angry and defensive man who sent me his explanation that this was caused by a running toilet and he was not responsible for cleanup. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO MY WORST ENEMY!…read more I hired this company in February to do a septic pump out for us. At the time I was quoted $700 for the pump out. When the guy came, our septic tank was over full and required another truck. He told us that the previous company that came and sucked out the septic tank did not reinstall the filter that goes on our septic tank. It ended up being $2600 for septic pump out and filter replacement. Fast-forward to September and we have our house on the market to sell. We get an offer on the property and they want a clearance letter on the tank. We give them a copy of the receipt from the pump out in February. They are curious why it cost so much to previously pump it. So the buyers agent hired Curry to do a full septic inspection. The septic " inspector" (who turned out to be the same man that previously cleaned out the tank) met with the Buyers Agent and arrived at the property before she did. He begins telling her that when he pulled the filter out that some water came out and he felt it needed to be pumped again. Now this house has been sitting empty since June. Me and my husband were staying there from the end of April until the end of May doing repairs on the house preparing it to sell. Not wanting to contribute more to the tank to avoid having it pumped again we only flushed every 3 or 4 uses unless, well - you know :). And we didn't flush the paper. We also only showered if we had been doing yard work or heavy sweaty work (which we mostly hired out). So minimal use of the tank - bare minimum! There is NO way that the system needed pumped again. He also tells her that he remembers this pump out because it took 2 truckloads to pump it all and the drain lines had been full. He tells her too they added some kind of chemical to help break down any remaining waste. He then tells her that the lines might fail and they may not. Everything she asked he couldn't guarantee. They may fail, they may not - over and over again. At this point she is just as frustrated as I am (on a three way call with the septic guy & her on speaker and my agent and me both listening in). She tells him that she is paying for a full septic inspection and doesn't understand how he can inspect it when no dirt has even been moved. If he hasn't moved any dirt then how did he "pull out the filter" in the beginning of this inspection? They ended up giving us a clearance septic letter and emailed it only to the other agent, but not a copy to us. I contacted them the following day to get a copy emailed of the septic clearance letter and he kept telling me that he had to shut down his entire system and switch it over in order to email it to me. He got very hostile when I insisted that since I was the property owner, I should've gotten a copy of it. He would not supposedly "shut down or redo his system" in order to email it to me. What a load of CRAP! So the Buyers Agent hires another septic company to come out and inspect the tank. This company actually does an inspection (they moved dirt!) and tells her there is no filter on the tank and there should be one. So did Curry Septic put a filter in or not? Obviously NOT! How did he "pull the filter and water came out" if there NO filter???? So that deal falls through. Partially because of this fiasco and over other things we couldn't agree on. Fast forward two weeks and I decide to go ahead and have another company come out and inspect the tank so we have a clearance letter for the next buyer. A fresh set of eyes. This new company comes out, opens the tank and lo and behold but there no filter! So two different companies have now informed us that Curry DID NOT ADD THE FILTER! This new company also informs us that when the house was built they did not do the T-pipe from the house line to the tank and they should have. Curry never said a word about this pipe at all. So we had it fixed, had the filter added and got a clearance letter that we were comfortable presenting to future buyers. So BEWARE! They will give you one price on the phone and bait and switch you into paying another price - in our case three times the amount that was quoted - and not do what they say they are doing. They also will not back their work! The owner is hostile, unprofessional, lazy and a LIAR! I think he's full of crap! BTW this company is also listed in Hoschton, GA under the phone number 678-977-2323 - BEWARE!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I had to tell everyone about the worst plumbing experience ever had…read morewith...Sloggy Plumbing. I had two small leaks under two different sinks. One was due to an icemaker connection. One was due to a fitting under another sink to the cold water. The part to repair the leak under the sink to the cold water, at Home Depot is $12. To repair the line that went to the ice machine, required the pipe being cut and fitted with a pec pipe clamp with a new cold water connection. Both parts under $35. To do this, you needed to turn the water off at the main. Literally taking under five minutes to turn the water off and let the water drain in the sinks so that there was no water to leak while the repair was being done. I had to make a doctors appointment, and had asked for a 30 min heads up in order to be able to figure something out. He showed up quickly and gave no warning as I was walking out the door for the appointment ( my wife was off and would help me). If you know how hard it is to make an appt with a doctor, you know the frustration. I had to reschedule and miss my appointment as my wife would have been bulldozed by the BS. This appt was the reason I was off. The person who showed up at my door, said that no one ever told him to make that phone call. He was friendly and I was friendly. I noticed his boots were dirty with dried mud. I did not ask him to remove them. He should've worn booties, which most repairman carry with them when they enter a home. It's just common courtesy. I was told it would cost $85 for them to make the repair call, and the $85 would be applied to the repair cost. The plumber that showed up gave me a quote of $250. It was excessive, but I was stuck.. and that's the position we were in. Either you pay $85 for nothing or you pay $250. It's almost like ransom. When I asked him if there was any movement in the price, to a reasonable $200, he said no. He didn't even want to make the call. I had to agree to it because it was a waste of time and I needed to get to my appt. When he wrote up the agreement, it was $360 now. I said how could that be $360? We were just talking about $200, and we had already agreed to $250? When I looked at the work order, he had incorporated the $85 service fee on top of the 250, and the charges for the parts, which were exaggerated to bring the total to $360. When I caught the "error", I said I thought the $85 was supposed to be added towards the price of the repair.. if I did the repair? Then he played dumb, well let me call in and find out. And they brought it back to $250 all inclusive. Again, his response was.. I didn't know, no one told me. That's the second time he said that to me in the same conversation. How could you not know that there is an $85 fee that goes towards the repair when that's your job to know that? I never once raised my voice to that man, and I specifically said to him ...I don't blame him for the crazy pricing. Settled, I signed the agreement for the work at $250. And THAT was ridiculous. He had to go to the store to buy the parts at Home Depot. Which I find quite hard to believe that as a plumber you don't have basic things inside of your truck. I WAITED 2.5 HOURS FOR HIM TO RETURN. I had an appt that I had to get to ...and I would now miss it because of their childish game of NOT COMING BACK while having me waiting 2.5 hours. NOT EVEN A PHONE CALL!! I called the "company" several times. No one picked up the phone purposely, as it's a cell phone business. I finally sent a text to the owner that I was leaving negative feedback. His response was, they decided not to do the repair, because of the way I treated the repairman. Imagine...a $110 mistake on top of an already outrageous quote, Then GHOSTING the client after being caught ripping them off... "accidentally". Why was I being punished for their "error"? They were caught trying to cheat me and were mad they got caught! It seems that ripping people off has become the norm for lots of trades. There's always a scam it seems. I WOULD NEVER recommend Sloggy Plumbing to anyone. I did not embellish anything. I related EXACTLY what happened to me. Can you imagine a business being so unprofessional as to just disappear in the middle of a job that they signed onto? They left the cabinet doors open, lights on, and they left a person waiting 2 1/2 hours!! If you use Sloggy Plumbing ...you are taking a gamble. They're a joke! STAY AWAY FROM SLOGGY PLUMBING...Find a respectable and honest plumber that will treat you right.

We had 3 toilets, 2 tubs, and a water heater replacement. He responded on a weekend and booked the appointment next day. He arrived during the window and even called ahead. He completed the work that afternoon. I wanted them to make some money so I agreed to their original quote which I believe to be fair for both parties.
