I say 'they' - I only ever dealt with the lovely Caz when I worked at the housing association - Crooks were our main electrical contractor for odd jobs. Caz is lovely, really friendly and easy-going. I think he might have been a bit too laid-back for some people; there's never sense of urgency about him or his work, which I think some people found a bit frustrating. Personally, I found it really appealing and really easy to work with, but then they weren't sorting out my exploding shower or tripped circuits or what have you. Perhaps if the boot was on the other foot I'd have found the laid-back approach a bit less endearing... Anyway, by and large most of the tenants seemed pretty happy with the work of Crooks, there was the occasional minor mess-up, but nothing to write home about.
