When we left about ten minutes later, she was still outside smoking and playing her game. We had a question when we checked out but since the receptionist was outside and no one was at the desk we just left. As we drove away, we watched her out front smoking and playing, oblivious to any work she was probably getting paid to do. Plenty of other urgent care facilities along the York Road corridor. They don't have basic vaccines available to prevent issues of concern to older and younger patients. The staff is very kind, quick and helpful. Test results come back fast and can be picked up without much trouble. The electronic sign in process is amazingly simple and user friendly. While there is much room for improvement Patient First is an ok resource for general routine healthcare needs. Patient First is an adjunct to a good family doctor not a replacement for them.

What I liked is that the receptionist communicated with those of us who were getting jumped what was happening and why it was necessary. My second visit, during the week, took about an hour. The waiting room features a TV (that played Bluey during our three hour wait), fish tank and some stools that can be moved around. It was enough to keep my sick son occupied while we waited. The actual patient rooms are also fitted with TVs, playing something different than the waiting room, and some wall games as well. Medicine, in some instances, can be purchased on site to save the hassle of a prescription at a pharmacy. Electrolyte popsicles were also available to my son when they were concerned about dehydration. Lollipops and treasure boxes are offered on the way out. All in all, when last minute sickness strikes my kids and their normal pediatrician is not available, I have no qualms taking my kids to Urgent Care of Towson.

There were plenty of seats, including seats for those with thick thighs. I was updated of every step and then when he was in recovery, the nurse came and got me. I asked did they validate parking, but as a incentive they gave me a free parking pass because of the delay, which was top tier. I was advised where to go and pull up to pick up hubby once I got my car. Thankfully there was an attendant to help with getting out.

Previously I had chiropractic orthotics that didn't improve anything. I wasn't able to exercise and changed my nutrition to help reduce foot pain and lose weight. We Discussed surgery as an option with the intent of treating everything nonsurgically so I did PT for 3 months to work on the right ankle and big toe, and right knee. My pain continued to improve as I lost weight and followed PT at home. An added benefit was that he was able to successfully treat my toenail fungus.
