OMG..... If I could give a BIG FAT ZERO I would. I have been…read morebanking with Wells Fargo for over 10 years and heard all the negative things about them and still stand by them until NOW!!!.... I deposit my weekly paycheck using ATM or online bank for years until April 12th (my Thursday night weekly deposit) by Tuesday April 17th the funds was "CHARGE BACK" but no one in the branch, customer services on online bank department could give me a excite reason for the meaning "CHARGE BACK". The same day I made contact with the bank it was drawn off of (BB&T) and gave Wells Fargo the contact person name and phone # from BB&T to verify that the check was good, but was told it is most likely an error by Wells Fargo and could take up to 3 days, then was told up to 10 days and now over 2 weeks later still no answer. I final was able to get the check back take it to BB&T (the bank it was drawn off of) and deposit it back into my account.Wish is what I waned to do on the first day but was told it had to take its take it course. Then had to be credited bank over $250 in fees. I called online banking back and they said that I had to wait for a letter to come in the mail to check the status. I just received the letter and it claimed that BB&T said the check was an "Non-Cash item" and if I needed a copy of the document from BB&T I could call Wells Fargo, in which I did. Online bank referred me to Accounting and control, they said they could not speak to me or take me request to send them the letter from BB&T. I had BB&T give me a letter stating that the funds were available on April 12th and they never tried to send the check thru!!!!! But Wells Fargo doesn't want to see my letter nor give me a letter from BB&T denying the check. The only reason my account has not been closed is because I'm waiting on my income tax check to be direct deposit into that account. The same day both my accounts with Wells Fargo will be closed!!!! I WILL BE FOLLOWING UP WITH A LETTER TO CORP. DO NOT GO TO WELLS FARGO .
