With good faith, I first stepped into this office on SEPTEMBER 3, 2025. The insurance agent I was assigned to seemed very nice, & competent enough to solve my concern of finally obtaining 2 life insurance policies to be placed in my name, and subsequently cashed out. I went into this situation knowing entirely that it was going to take some patience & perseverance-on my part & my agent. However, I never dreamed the process would take almost 4 MONTHS, with no updates or guidance on where my payouts were. I was told I needed a "small estate affidavit", & that this may be a process I have to get the COURTS involved in?? I had to go so far as reaching out to my family lawyer, who settled my grandparents trust ( to whom I was a beneficiary), and even call my uncle who was executor of the estate to "open it back up again", to get the information that was needed. That was NOVEMBER 25, TODAY.. is NEW YEARS EVE AND I STILL HAVE NO PAYOUT. I have called the office repeatedly, almost daily for a week, with no one answering the phone. I told the agent I really needed this payout to help with dental surgery I desperately needed. I am now without 4 teeth. This office has left me no other recourse but to try the Bowie office; maybe there I'll get some results.

Body shop also sent out a supplement yesterday(thursday) and today I get a call from adjuster that he wont be out till Monday. Meanwhile when I know I signed up for rental coverage they once again screw me and tell me I dont have rental coverage. So I'm stuck paying for a rental while my truck is sitting and not getting repaired. I pay a pretty good amount and getting this kind of service is very disappointing. I had progressive before and ran into a similar situation and they actually made some calls and got someone out immediately, and my vehicle at the time was repaired within a week and half. Going on a week now and no repairs started due to Allstate.

One year out I never actually received any type of paperwork with a financial plan. Yes, he did return emails and was willing to make many appointments to speak via zoom, but in those conversations he gave very generic advice about diversification and investing in retirement, etc etc -- the type of advice you could read off any generic website with absolutely no insight into my actual situation despite my giving him access to all of my financial information. The only specific advice I ever got was to move my retirement account under his management where he charged 1.4%. Very dissapointing.
