An unusual five star from me…read more My partner and I were in Wroclaw for 2 days for the first time. After one day we were missing wine, and happened by this wine shop. The gentleman who owned the business was able to provide us outstanding advice in English. ...as we cannot speak Polish :-( . He listened carefully to understand our wants, and suggested 3 wines at varying price points. We were hoping to try a good red wine from Georgia or Bulgaria, or (if necessary) elsewhere in Europe. We were skeptical of the Bulgarian cabernet savignon he touted as the price was incredibly low based on our experience in the US and France. But, in the end we put our skepticism aside and chose that wine. We tasted the wine that evening with a home-cooked meal. He was absolutely right -- despite the low price point this Bulgarian red was very good, and for the price point outstanding. The shop itself is a well-cared for treat. Not "big", but rather "just right." Highly recommend this shop.
