As one enters the main entrance of the market, there are several butchers located along the left-hand wall. The one in this review is special both due to the service and due to their offerings. We don't speak Polish, and the first place we tried didn't even try to offer to sell us anything after she learned this - as she didn't speak English. Next we tried the butcher in this review. It was the 4th or 5th butcher along the wall, and the brunette woman working there also did not speak English. However, she kindly sliced and sold us some of the beautiful tomato-encrusted salami we pointed out. Very friendly. This was the only butcher we saw that had a few meats that were enhanced with tomato or paprika or other seasonings. It all looked fresh and beautiful.

Most of our large group had either the beef rib which was huge tender and amazing, the ribeye , also huge and tender, or the mackerel. They did not ask people how they wanted their steak cooked. Some seemed a little under cooked. Think blue. As for the beer it's a matter of taste. I was not crazy about any of it. I settled on the salamander black currant sour. I originally did not like this when I had it the night before, but it must have paired well with what I was eating. Many folks enjoyed the strawberry milkshake IPA. Their coffee was also very good. Akropolis filled that bill in spades as we thoroughly enjoyed the grilled Salmon Filets and the Assorted Seafood over Squid Ink Pasta. One member of our team chose a Greek kabob of pork with a side of fries. We also really enjoyed the fresh Greek Salads as well as the Saganaki cheese in a traditional Greek flaky pastry shell. We were bummed out that the restaurant was out of the bottle of French wine we had chosen from their wine list and had to settle for a sub-optimal pairing.
