From the first time I contacted this incredible hidden gem - Dr Wood and his staff (Jody, Tommy, &…read moreMelissa) until now (after my appointment) I am impressed beyond words! Friendly, professional and did I mention how nice and sweet everyone is ??? This is rare these days so of course I want to give credit where credit is due. Thank you for making me feel welcomed & comfortable. Dr Wood is so personable and really understands my pain and really made my experience and treatment so positive I wanted to spread the word and acknowledge and let others know, there are still wonderful people in the world, I really started to have my doubts- lol. If you have foot issues - look no further ..... and he has 2 locations.

I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Wood. I had a fracture in my foot, but he was…read morecertain that the specific pain I was describing was plantar fasciitis. I repeatedly tried to explain what I was feeling and that the pain did not match what he was describing, but I never felt like he was actually listening to me. I also did not feel like my questions were being answered, and he repeatedly encouraged me to get injections for plantar fasciitis that day. I left the appointment feeling completely dismissed and honestly questioning myself because he was so certain about what I was feeling. I eventually went to another doctor, and the difference was night and day. Before I even had to fully explain the pain I had been experiencing, she described exactly what I was feeling and explained how it related to my fracture. It was the exact pain I had been trying to explain all along. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this doctor. I felt like there was far more focus on treating me for plantar fasciitis than listening to the pain I was actually describing or answering my questions.
