Apparently if you question her diagnosis after years of failure, you lack incite and therefore have mental illness of her prejudice. I stop seeing her and have had a few psych's after her and finally am better under a different cluster of disease categories. Maybe it was covid or maybe it was her lacking incite into her own ego. Sometimes one diagnosis doesn't work better than a list. I'm glad I found a new psychiatrist that listens and doesn't gaslight. I wanted to write a formal letter from my lawyer but it's literally not worth it. Medicine is a practice; hope she improves.

Dr. Amann is exceptionally kind, patient and knowledgeable in her field. My patients never feel rushed and, unlike many other psychiatrists, she is not a "pill pusher" but actually listens to the patient; helping them identify coping skills. Each patient has an individualized plan, she is careful on which medication would be best and never fails to continually assess the effectiveness and make changes when warranted.
