We had no idea where to go for breakfast in this first day of our vacation. When we looked for breakfast places on Google, this was the fourth place that came up but we were sold by the reviews. If I could give 10 stars on this review I would. The coffee is absolutely amazing. I had the crème brûlée coffee and it was wonderful. The food was very well cooked and had amazing flavor. My favorite part was the pita bread with butter and honey. Our servers were Michael and Johnny and they were such a delight. I highly recommend this breakfast place to anyone either visiting or living in this area of Istanbul.

We are on a country hopping trip for a month and decided to hit Istanbul for the food and architectures. We planned it to where our flight arrived in the early morning so we could be some of the first breaky patrons in line. We specifically chose Poíká due to their top reviews and we were not let down. We ordered a run of the bal-tereyagi to start with our lattes. This a homechurned butter they provide but they drizzle local honey all over the butter first...and then some handmade flatbread. The combo is literally to die for. My husband ordered the cappuccino and I ordered the creme brûlée latte. Both presentations and milk was both beautiful and impressive. The taste was a perfect balance of coffee to milk and my latte did not leave in the overly sweet side which I really appreciated. Now for the Sahanda Yumurtas...such a simple yet delicious dish. They cook their eggs to literal perfection, it's like they scrambled them into these buttery little clouds of egg. And then they toss in Turkish pepperoni or chopped steak, with both meats coming freshly cut from the linked deli shop next door. And that's it for the meal. That was our breakfast and it was tremendous. The staff is sweet and kind, and they hustle. They atmosphere is small, simple but we sat at the pop out window and watched the people walk by. It's made foe an incredible morning in Istanbul! Oh btw...this all cost $11 USD
