I found her to be not only very caring and present, but was particularly impressed by her depth and complexity in applying Chinese medicine principles for truly individualized care in pregnancy. While acupuncture is known to generally help with fertility and pregnancy, it was inspiring to see her especially nuanced and thoughtful approach, with her years of experience focusing and integrating advanced trainings around acupuncture treatment during pregnancy really showing. She gave me insights that I couldn't see myself and helped make a lot of sense about how my pregnancy had been going, with a great treatment and really supportive advice for self-care that finally put some pieces together for me. Their office space is very comfortable, cute, and professional too. I'm glad we have this clinic as a local resource and happy to refer people to them as well.

I had a questionable result on a thermogram, and wanted to make sure there would be no health implications in the future, by following advice from an accredited practitioner. Dr. Monica ran genomics, nutraceutical, and other diagnostic tests that would help my individual health needs. Unlike mainstream medicine, she focuses on the reason or cause, and does not dole out medications: that syncs with my personal health philosophy. She was very good at explaining the results, and setting up a treatment plan. It was all very interesting to me to approach health from this angle, to be able to prevent future illnesses, and work with current issues, while understanding some of my genetic dispositions to health issues, while learning how adopting certain lifestyles, and giving my body the nutraceutical components, can stop negative health happenings for me in the future. I'd much rather prevent than to have to treat an illness. I have sought her out for ongoing issues, and am happy with her care. I would recommend her to anyone who believes in this healthcare philosophy.

We feel so blessed to be able to have Dr. Monica as our pediatrician because she is board certified in pediatrics but also certified in Homeopathy and Integrative medicine. We have always leaned towards Chinese medicine and Naturopathy to take care of our health, but we also respect Western medicine as there are some conditions that really could be helped with that approach, so Dr. Monica is the perfect balance of Holistic and Traditional medicine that we were looking for. Thank you Dr. Monica!

A thing where my piriformis muscle is placing pressure on my sciatic nerve and it is probably one of the most painful things that I have been through. I reached out to Mia on a whim after using a walker at work for three days and figured I should just try really hard to get this hip to heal. I know that we are waiting for the muscle to release and I had tried all the things. Ice, heat, CBD, pain pills, muscle relaxers, all of the above. Then I talked to Mia, and she got me in the next morning after texting her at 8pm that night. I was late, because I am always late and with this hip pain it seemed like I had been behind for forever. But she was understanding about it and that was refreshing. You walk into her studio and it smells good. There is a rich ambiance of relaxation with the salt lamps and the music and the smell of healing energy. She walked me through everything, had me point out where my pain was and deliberately focused on my trouble areas. However she warmed all my muscles and body first, did an overall massage and then focused on my hips. She used pressure massage and creams and hot stones and told me all the things that could help me in the future. What an incredible experience, I will absolutely be back.
