It was a blustery Saturday, so we popped by to check out their early spring offerings and were pleasantly surprised. The outside area was sparse, as is to be expected this time of year. Although, they were starting to get some herb and veggie starts accumulated (and I anticipate will be adding more as the weather gets warmer). Inside, I was more than pleasantly surprised to find they have a beautiful gift shop full of all sorts of wonderful, garden-adjacent things. Including an adorable selection of interesting pots, as well as lots of gorgeous indoor plants. They also had greeting cards, garden tools, knick knacks, and bric-a-brac. The lady who runs the place was amazingly friendly, too! She even introduced us to their resident cat, who was very friendly. (They actually have two cats, but one is older and not as outgoing.) Can't wait to stop back by here when gardening season is in full swing!

Their prices are worth the drive! I would suggest with all large nurseries like this, you call and make an appointment. They have way too much property and selection to just drop in. When I mentioned Wiggin's nursery to my landscaper, he said he would give Terry (the owner) a call and arrange the pick up. It's not a big box store, has concierge service, and mature plants so you get instant gratification! Next time we will take the dogs and spend the weekend in Bellingham and enjoy God's country up that way!

Bobbi came to our house to discuss designing our entire yard all the way through to execution. Was…read morea good meeting, nothing out of the ordinary. Had appointment April 21st to discuss the concept. She called the day before and said she couldn't find it on her computer but would be fairly easy for her to redo. I said no worries, when ready call me back to reschedule. No response back, I emailed her after 2 weeks, didn't get a response. After a month I contacted the owner, Garrett, and then the next day Bobbi contacted me and left a message saying she was sorry, it was unprofessional, she should have got back to me, if I still wanted to do the project call her back. I didn't call back that day, but the next day Garrett left me an email saying he was sorry and they prided themselves on communication. So I answered the email fairly promtly that day, which was May 19th, saying I wanted to continue and I would call Bobbi. I called to leave her message and her outgoing mail said she's out of the office till June 2nd. I left a message saying I would continue with the project even though I thought it was odd she never mentioned she was going to be out of the office when she told me the day before to call her back. Well, it's June 9th and I think it's pretty clear that Bobby doesn't want anything to do with it job for whatever her reason is. There was no unpleasantness in our first meeting or after so I don't understand why she would ghost me when this is a sizeable job for them to do. She never mentioned any difficulties with a job that could have put her off wanting to continue. I won't even go to the nursery to buy aplant or anything after being treated this way. Very poor business.

Brandywine Nursery is a wholesale nursery that will also sell to the general public. Their…read moreselection of plants is fabulous as they have about 70 acres of plants to choose from. I would recommend sending them an email or giving them a call if you want to spend some time looking around. You will probably want them to give you a tour of the grounds and point you in the right direction to the various plants. You can't beat the prices here. We bought around 40 plants that would have cost at least three times what we would have paid at a retail nursery. Lastly, but probably the most important part of this review, the people working there are simply wonderful. You just couldn't ask for nicer or more knowledgeable employees. We were helped by Jess and Andrew, and they simply couldn't be nicer or more helpful than they were. If you need plants, go to Brandywine. You will not be disappointed and you'll get a great deal on some great plants.
